This is the first time I actually worked on Marcos. He's 6ft tall and I work slowly, so we just stuck to upper body for our first session. He is a personal trainer and works out a lot so there was/is a lot to get through. I never really go "full force" on a first session - it's a lot of feeling/assessing. Sessions evolve over time and I also believe our bodies become massage-adapted. Just as our bodies can become adapted to any physical routine (ie. cold plunge or saunas, chiropractic adjustments, strength & conditioning or cardio, diet etc.) the same I believe happens with massage. It's always cool to feel and see the evolution over time.

Hope you guys enjoy! Let me know what you think :)

Side note: I'm thinking about adding a tier for self-massage, and also close-up massage. Right now I'm in the thinking stage though - I definitely want to expand what I create.

Have a great Monday guys!!

Wow, that was really incredible to watch. I noticed when you asked him why he gets massages, unlike the rest of the time when his eyes are closed, he kept his eyes open just staring at the ceiling and thinking between the first part of his answer and the second. I really liked that. A detail that your earlier video clip didn’t capture! Thanks for posting the full thing.

Hi Britt- it was cool to see you working with someone you haven’t before. To see you feel and assess what his needs were for the first time. Do you find that you are more mentally “tired” after massaging someone for the first time vs having worked on someone multiple times? Are you typically more mentally or physically depleted after a session? Just curious. 🧐 So much healing/relief comes from the moments when you apply pressure to a specific spot and are moving slowly or stay in one spot. You use slow pressure and your understanding of how the body reacts to your touch. You take the path it needs and is telling you to take for healing . Very cool. You are such a blessing to so many people. Thank you for sharing once again! 🙌🏾🫶🏽♥️ Oooh…more new ideas from you in the future? Nice 👏🏽🎉Also, did I see a new camera angle for just a short time l during some arm work? 🤔

Thank you for your comments! That’s a really good question. I would say new clients are definitely different on the nervous system 🥹 there’s a lot of assessing to do/feel…from when the client walks in the door until when they leave. It’s definitely nice once I see them two/three times and we get into a nice flow. I listen as best I can - not to say I’m accurate 100% of the time, but yeah…that’s definitely when and why I slow down/pause/hold 💛
