In case you didn't know, this man who appears in my videos sometimes is my dad 👨🏻. When I'm in FL, I usually always work on him. I am NJ and FL licensed. Not that it matters much with him - I lived in FL and sometimes go for a few months at a time so it's nice to be able to work there too.

Fun fact, he actually gives a really good massage - he's a natural. So I got it from my dad. Growing up, to help us wake up and get ready for school our dad would come in to give us back massages. That always sounds crazy when I say it - I always wonder if anyone else's parents would do this kinda thing. Our mom would too! Touch/massage was always just apart of our family - something that just came like second nature to us. But it was really because it was so engrained in me that I even believed in my abilities in the first place (when it came down to going to massage school). I never even had one professional massage before school - I was the only one in class who hadn't. I just thought hey, I'll get my license because I know how to do this, it will be a good job for me until I figure out what I want to do. What I didn't know was that this wasn't something that people just do naturally. It was a special thing that I could intuitively feel with my hands the way that I do. My dad has that same ability.

Whatever I creatively choose to do in my life is working with my hands. Usually if it doesn't involve working with my hands, there's no hope with me being good at it. What I wanted to do out of high school was go right to culinary school - the crazy thing is that my dad "didn't let me". That's what I always say - looking back, I know it was because he was trying to protect me from that kind of exhaustion. I still wish he did let me though, albeit my life would be very different I'm assuming. I knew I didn't want to major in anything a typical college would have to offer me, so I only wasted $$ attempting to get degrees.

Anyways...I could go on but I'll spare you all the details...

My dad's body is pretty beat up: chronic tension, younger years (and some older) of bodybuilding, many injuries, car accident, not taking the best care of himself, the list goes on and on...I know he always truly appreciates when I work on him, and I always feel and see the change in him afterwards. That comforts me.

He never actually gets under the sheet when I set it up and prefers to lay on top with his shorts on. Sometimes he'll just leave all his clothes on and I'll just do some compressions/squeezing. I, myself enjoy this too! Having it done. It's a different feel from skin to skin and it can be so relaxing in its own way.

I did take the volume off for just a bit working on his feet - my dad tends to go off on tangents at times and I don't find them very pleasant. You probably wouldn't either. 🙃

Hope you can enjoy the ASMR of this otherwise and find it relaxing in its own way...

Thank you for being here, and thank you for watching.

“I don’t find them (tangents) very pleasant.” For some reason that made me giggle…☺️ such a gentle way of saying it. I’m going to watch this later (we are having a big thunderstorm now and I LOVE watching and listening to that with the windows open). ⚡️ We would get back rubs at night to put us to sleep.💤 touch is so comforting, reassuring and important. You seriously DO have a natural talent & ability. love that your family embraces it. 💕You definitely are blessed with a wonderful ability. There is something different about how you approach a massage-Your care & intuition are unmatched. You definitely have a creative brain & such a kind spirit about you- great mix. 🦋 Thank YOU for always taking time to not only to edit, but to take time to explain and give insights to your posts. 🤓I am thankful for you - someday I hope you experience a “massage by Britt.” 🤗💕

And thirdly, Ann, thank you for your kind words always and appreciating the details, noticing what you do. It never goes unnoticed (ha ha...it really doesn't, though). Sorry I did this in three separate comments hahha

Your bird comment in the beginning had me cracking up! 🤣 and then he mentioned them again near the end. 💕 I noticed how “stiff” his neck was compared to your sister’s. Sounds like his body’s been through a lot. Yikes- but you brought him some relief and comfort. (And conversation😆) Thanks to both of you for sharing. 💕

I’m proud of you for following what you enjoy in life! As a teacher I hear too many people ask students where they want to go to college. Some don’t want to, some have talents that don’t require a traditional college degree & others can’t. I always tell my students how much $ a plumber makes, how important a cosmetologist is, that we need sanitation workers etc. WE are important- not our degree. If you do what you love - “success” will find you. You are a great example of following your passion and being successful with it! 💕 Sorry Britt, now I got on a tangent!) 😳🥴😆
