About the Game

Escape the Walls is a first-person incremental digging game set in a 1980s underground prison. Click, tap, or hold to punch the wall in front of you. Every block you break drops rubble, and rubble buys upgrades: harder fists, faster hands, and help from the women you set free. Plaster gives way to brick, then concrete, then steel — each floor tougher than the last, all the way to daylight.

On every floor you choose whose cell to break into next. As you dig toward her, she talks to you through the wall — and with every block you clear, she has a little less on, from her jumpsuit or uniform down to her underwear, then to nothing at all. Smash her cell door for a short scene together and her explicit finale illustration, then she joins you and digs at your side. The Extended Version shows every finale fully uncensored.

How to Play

Click, tap, or hold on the wall to punch it (Space works too). When a block breaks, you move one step forward.

Spend rubble on upgrades: Iron Fist hits harder, Quick Hands punches faster, Teamwork makes the women you freed dig faster, and Bait lures rats and roaches out of the walls.

When a rat or roach pops out, hit it before it gnaws into your rubble sack.

On each floor, pick whose cell to head for. Keep digging to watch her undress, then break down her door.

Break through every cell on all five floors, then dig your way out to the surface.

What the Extended Version Unlocks

Floors three to five open up, and eight more women are waiting behind the walls: a former lawyer, a carefree party girl, the prison librarian, a lively inmate who never sits still, the discipline officer, the facility's researcher, the chief guard — and at the very bottom, the warden who once held every key. Each has her own lines through the wall, her own scene, and her own uncensored finale.
