I plead, "Can I turn up the thermostat?"

"Put on long pants, woman!" is her reply.

I have basically never worn long pants and socks inside the house, even in the dead of winter. I will be forced to reckon with this habit in the coming months.

Still hasn’t happened to me yet. But even after 11 months on HRT, my E levels are pathetic.

YUUUPPP!! I totally get why my roommates are so cold all the time lol

Elizabeth

I’m maybe weird in that my temperature regulation doesn’t seem to have to shifted that much, but I am more willing to wear long sleeves or pants now than I used to be, I just don’t generally need to

Preach! For years, I was the "Thermostat Dictator" of our house. Trying to save money by telling my spouse to bundle up and keeping the temp low. Now? Now she laughs whenever I complain about being cold and turn the knob up... I've become a "freeze baby" as we joke.

Aly Lindsey

Definitely feel this. I used to be sweating at 70° F. Now (6 months in) I have to bundle up!

Melody~

Haha I wear pajama pants to bed! I can't, as soon as it got cold...I'm freezing now🥶

Lisa

...because 70 degrees is f***ing cold! ❄️

Syvanus

Yikes, I already can't stand my place any lower than 73 degrees, and that's with long pants and a hoodie on. If I ever go on HRT, I shudder to think how much more of a freeze baby I might become! :#

Cis female here, and I just resign myself to being cold all the time in winter since I moved to New England 20 years ago. I can keep much of my body warm with leggings under jeans, two shirts and a sweater (or two sweaters and a shirt), and socks and shoes, but my feet are still cold 50% of the time and freezing a third of that (we keep our thermostats at 68). Meanwhile my teenage boys wander the house in pajama pants and short sleeve shirts. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Kari Jane

ohhh boy... I keep the house at 64 during winter and 76 in summer.. am I the enemy?
