Thanks to...unfortunate real life events, namely that Embracing the Stereotypes was based in no small part on a co-op campaign I was running with someone else, whom I have since had a falling out with, Embracing is currently on hiatus for an indeterminate amount of time.

Rest assured I intend to finish it, I love the story and Sylvanas, but I...cannot work on it right now.

That being said, I want to keep Patreon Guided stories a thing, and Embracing was a kind of...stress-release story for me. One that I could have fun with, rather than being super serious with like my other stories.

So, I have a few scenarios that we can make use of. Almost all of them based around a similar concept, involving a SI/Isekai Sesshomaru from Inuyasha.

Scenario One: Inuyasha/Ranma/KPOP Demon Hunters world. This would probably a straight story, no extra gimicks, or a Waifu Catalogue story. Chaos Gacha is fun, but its a pain in the ass to plan around, because I never know what I'll draw. Which is fun in some cases, less so in others. Further poll to be held if it would be WC or not.

Scenario Two: Waifu Catalogue Story, starting in the same FFX/XIII fusion world of the deceased It's Good To Be The King story I tried out last year. This time, without the Couple's Co-Op bit, because that is just a pain to try and work out.

Scenario Three: Waifu Catalogue Story, further poll to be held on what world to start in.

Scenario Four: Waifu Catalogue Story, starting in a world to be determined, featuring a Walk-In Sesshomaru. What that means, mechanically, is it's Sesshomaru himself that is the MC of the story, not someone 'possessing' him, as it were. Not an isekai like Eagle or Crown, but the actual man himself. This option could include visiting the worlds from Scenarios One and Two.

This story will not delay the arrival of Echoes In Eternity, as that will still be replacing Nothing Is True when that story is completed.

I just need a story that I can play with, a little stress relief, you know?

Like is it a crossover is it just a power set swap a mashup. Like what's the main world kpop Inuyasha or ranma. Are we dealing with x group of characters because I'll be honest the ranma cast can be toxic in a way that makes me just hope they get punted, and Inuyasha has Miroku(enough said).

So, for me, Ranma and Inuyasha have always existed in the same universe. Same author, and both have magic and non-human entities and shit. Kagome is a Tendo cousin, from a somewhat-saner branch of the family. Somewhat being a relative term, of course. KPOP Demon Hunters, likewise, would share a lot of similarities. Demons, young women purging them, etc. It's just in Korea, not Japan, which accounts for the differences. So it wouldn't be that there is a 'main world' per se, but that all of them exist in the same world simultaneously because they don't really contradict one another in any insurmountable way. And yes, I don't like most of the Ranma cast either. Frankly, Ranko's the only female character I find to be attractive in the Ranma cast. Shampoo isn't BAD, but...

I voted for 4, purely for the walk-in Sesshoumaru. Don't care if you drop the WC, or what world it is, canon Sesshoumaru has my vote. Though preferably with Jaken and Rin along for company.

I really do like the idea too, it's just that it would probably be right after he is helped by Kid Rin, or even before that. So he would still be a massive dick. So I figured I would give people the option lol. I've long wanted to do a Walk-In story, though. Was originally gonna do one with Toga-O/Inutaisho, per my snippet thread, but...he starts out semi-godlike as it is lol.

So it would almost be like a character got dropped into some ranma/Inuyasha shenanigans and said nope of fucked off to korea to deal with their shit? Like who the Main plotline or is it in like stages or part 1 ranma part 2 (sailor moon if I remember I think they happen in the same universe and or mace reference to each other) part 2/3 kpop part 4 profit? Or is it a borrowing themes from some but spending the majority in a certain plot?

It would be primarily happening in Inuyasha and KPOP settings, the Ranma stuff would barely show up since he'd basically get his hands on Ranma, and then be bouncing around too much -including through time- for Ranma canon shenanigans to really happen. Though the Amazons might be involved as China's versions of demon hunters like the KPOP girls or Sango's people in Japan's past.

Just had a thought but spit ball how about a merge of 4 and 1? Like do a reverse Kagome situation where Sesshomaru pops into the future and deals with the kpop and goes back and forth.

If Option Four ends up winning, and he ever ended up in one of those three worlds, it would be just like Option One, in so far as the world merger. In my headcanon, those are all the same world. Just like Stargate, Assassin's Creed, and Battlestar Galactica are.
