As soon as I saw the reaction, I want to answer some questions 1. The drama will feature events from the history of South Korea, all kinds of economic and political, at some points it is important to pay attention to them, maybe if you don't understand something, stop the series and Google it (I personally did this). 2. Aesun contradicts herself, she loves Gwansik, but she has dreams and desires to find a rich man and leave the island, between these two things, love or money, she chose love. 3. Aunties are the people who love Aesun, there are 3 of them and they are also divers, like Aesun's mom. 4. Gwansik's grandmother often repeats phrases like "your daughter-in-law is better than mine," since her daughter-in-law is Gwansik's mother, her grandmother is kind of making fun of her. 5. No, at the very beginning of the series, the old lady is Aesun, this is not a spoiler, it was said, she kind of started a story about her life. 6. You will find out about the person who paid the rent later. Do not want to spoil it 7. You're right! Gwansik worked for the rich man, who wanted to marry Aesun, and I think that's why he was cruel to Gwansik, because she chose Gwansik over him, and he don’t understand her choice😂 I'm looking forward to next week to see the reactions😭❤️

That line at the end where she says the person she feels the most sorry towards is gwan sik as they zoom in on his permanently disfigured finger and him limping always hits me because deep sea fishing in those times was one of the most dangerous and physically tasking jobs.. people lost their lives, lost their hands and fingers on the nets, etc. and on top of that basically had to work from like 4AM every single day.. and then on top of that for him to have been also dealing with physical and verbal abuse for that long? And he was hiding it so his family wouldnt worry about him😭 What makes it even worse is knowing he didnt even have a choice since that man he was working for has influence over all the boats on the island so gwan sik didnt walk away from the job because he couldnt get on any boat without going through that guy…

Yeah gwan sik is the greenest flag everrrrr lol this man swam from mid ocean for his girl 😭 one of the cutest kdrama moments i've seen!! he stood up for his wife back in those days when being a filial son was everything to families... so sad seeing him in pain when they flash forward to the 90's..

I like the one kdrama a month thingy bc you get it done faster and i feel like especially with this drama it's easier to focus on the details since it's very intricate. :) volume 1 spring 🌷 is finished can't wait for volume 2 summer ☀️

heh hih😃힣헿

I want to tell you that the background of this drama is Seungkwan's hometown(jeju)!
