yay!!! i really love seeing vernon in solo interviews, hes like an enigma fr. like you can't even describe vernon bc he's just so HIMSELF. i'd love to just hang out with vernon for a day.. he'd be so chill to have fun with haha. also yeah it's sad hearing vernon talk about some of his childhood, i know there was clips about it in the seventeen guide that he was always judged even as a kid for his looks, and now look at him. he stands in his truth. he stands in his confidence! i love to see it!! 🥹 eric did really amazing with the questions allowing him to open up a bit more! i agree he was super shy at the beginning lol but when he took that jacket off 👀 haha. thanks guys for getting to this video!

Eric is so right, vernon raps with strong vocal inflection and he clearly enunciates every word he raps. Lowkey one of the reasons why he's my bias, I love his rap style

Sorry for spamming the comment section 😂 but as a mixed kid myself I totally relate to vernon. I'm half cambodian half white. My best friend growing up was half vietnamese and half black so we connected in that way, of never really belonging to one specific group. Got bullied a lot too for looking different than normal 😅 but vernon has found his stride and I love that he's comfortable being him. He said once that his members have never made him feel out of place, all 13 are so different but blend together so well. Testament to their amazing brotherhood. As far as I know, his mom lives in the states with his sister and his dad lives in korea (please correct me if i'm wrong)

my guy!!! i could watch a show with vernon just talking all day 😂 like he's so smooth switching back and forth with korean and english, he doesn't give himself enough credit bc his english is top tier. even in his raps, he doesn't put english words for no reason, he has intention behind everything he writes. also i love when he nerds out and talks about film and music and even fashion here like he's so passionate about the arts. my guy is just a chill regular dude who is super talented. on weverse someone asked if he accepted the recording academy invitation and he replied "im still thinking about it" 😂😂 like that's so VERNON coded. I love him!

I liked that we got to see vernon conversate and enjoy himself, especially the movie talks. I don't think I have ever come across an interview where the host was easily able to conversate with vernon/ open up his shell. I love him to death but I think I wouldn't be able to realistically keep a conversation going with him cuz it feels like he cuts off the conversation with his direct answers ToT.
