Fake Love was the performance I mentioned last time xD Your reaction didn't disappoint^^ They did amazing right? Especially Heesung

While I agree that K was correct in calling Ni-ki out, there is an eight or nine year age difference between the two. And I think that is significant, especially in a country like Korea, where age is such a big factor in how you communicate with others. I think K was a little too harsh. In Korean years, K was 23 or 24 and Ni-ki was 15. It is too bad that the subtitles cut out when they did because there was a very cute exchange between Sunoo and Heeseung, with Heeseung laughing and asking Sunoo why he was smiling while performing the song because it’s not a happy song can’t be smiling. It was just cute.

I agree and disagree with both Ni-Ki and K in this episode. But first, I always like to point out we watch these MNet shows with half a skeptical eye glaring at the producers 😂. Guarantee there were some more friendly moments that happened between K and Ni-Ki, but that isn’t drama, so can’t have that! For K. He is 8 years older than Ni-Ki. Japan, like Korea, is very senior honorable. As the team leader and Ni-Ki’s senior by a lot, he knows the power that holds. I feel like his approach could have been a bit less harsh (but again, editing. Maybe he tried a calmer approach and it was cut). I don’t think he was wrong to have a conversation with Ni-Ki, but I just think it could have been a conversation vs a reprimand. For Ni-Ki. He’s 14 at this time. He carries himself with such a professional and driven aura, that it’s tends to be forgotten. Just earlier in this episode you mentioned how it must be so hard for Taki being that young. Taki is young. 15 years old, and 7 months older than Ni-Ki. But they just carry themselves completely different. Back to the point though. No matter how he normally carries himself, the 14 is going to pop out at some time. I really don’t think his tears were because he couldn’t have his way, only Ni-Ki knows for sure, but I believe it is because of how harsh his senior, friend, one of only 2 Japanese speaking confidants he has in a foreign country, was interacting with him. All those changes a teen goes through in those years specifically will make themselves known. That doesn’t mean I think he shouldn’t be corrected when needed, just that there are definitely outside factors involved and I think he did pretty amazing in spite of them all. Fake Love- my favorite. I still go back to this performance. Chefs kiss. Jake - 😭. Keep those tissues around. It’s a roller coaster of ups and downs for the entire part 2. Cry happy one moment and balling from an elimination the next. Thank you for all the time you spend with us and glad you are enjoying the experience. Don’t wear yourself out these first weeks back! 🫶🏻

Awl thank you Beth for pointing this factor out I almost always never think of age. It makes sense. Your right that sounds like such a cute moment when them subs cut out. Thanks for letting me know of it tho.

I reloaded and read the comments before posting and Beth’s wasn’t there until after I posted even though hers was 20 mins before. Sorry for the repeat comments basically. I don’t THINK it took 20 mins for me to write my comment 🤔😂. Oh well.

When this came out K got a lot of hate for the way he responded to Ni-Ki's actions. Even now some people will still bring up this incident even though we know how close the two are. I didn't personally think too much of it. Could it have been done better? Maybe. I felt bad for Taki too. He was so lost in this episode. It bothered him so much to be exempt from the elimination. It's great to see him with &Team though. He is their little mood maker lol! I felt bad for Geueno although I kind of agreed with the assessment. It's crazy to see him with Just B. He is like a different person. Sunoo very much reminds me of Jimin of BTS. Not skill wise but heart wise. Like how he always says what is in his mind and how he doesn't care what others say about his facial expressions. Hanbin had me cheesing too. He is such a loving person and he just wants everyone to get along. I'm glad he found a loving group in Tempest though. I loved the Fake Love performance. That thing was on repeat. I hope you got to see the guys at the door. That became our new goodbye. The ones eliminated seemed to have made their peace with what happened by the time they said good by to the others. Maybe you can recap with that at the beginning of the next vid?

I think a lot of people misunderstand K. When he received a lot of hate when Iland aired his friend from high school went on X to explain what type of person K is. I remember him saying that K is highly sensitive (wich K himself also has said) and that he has a strong sense of justice. A thing a lot of peope don't know about K unless you read every interview by him is that he was depressed during Iland and while he was a trainee. If you're wondering why, It's because he was conflicted between his two passions, marathon and sings/performing. After getting to know the members of &TEAM I've also learned that K believes in praising a person warmly when they do well and call them out when they do wrong so they can learn from their mistakes and change. I've also seen a lot of people viewing him as an alfa male. I think that's a misunderstanding as well. K has said that he value communication a lot because people will not know what you thing if you don't express your opinions wich will lead to misunderstandings. I think a lot of people thought that he wanted to be in charge whenever he expressed his opinions in I-land wich is not the case. I get that people can have that kind of impression of peope who are honest and straight forward, especially if they don't know the person well or their intensions. K himself has said that he just want to set an example because he wants people to not be afraid of speaking their honest opinions. In &TEAM he always praise the other members whenever they express their honest opinions. In fact the members in &TEAM have said that their teamwork is so good thanks to K.
