My thoughts as someone who read the manga and it's spin off. I prefer season 1 and 2. I do wish they stuck with the spin off more but they did put bits of it in the 3rd season. Over all I'm happy with the adaptation. I don't think they'll continue the series cuz the ending to me felt like it was just showing that this happens all over the world since its just basically a state between life and death. It's definitely a good series and i would recommend it to people.

i’d give this season a 9/10 but overall with all seasons included, i’d give it a 10/10!!! season 1 was the best, followed by a strong season 2 and a satisfying season 3 imo. josh to answer your question - ann was emotional when arisu came back and he said “thank you ann” because he remembered who she was lol. he didn’t remember her before he took the drug that put him back in borderland. so she was happy he remembered her. some things in this season bothered me like ryuji contemplating whether to save usagi or not lol like bro ain’t no way you still right at the edge of the vortex and STILL thinking if you gonna kill her or not LOL. i liked how they dove deep into the joker being the watchman who lives in purgatory, it was sort of like that in the manga (the joker was the ferryman who took souls to the land of the dead) i wish there was a little more closure with usagi and her dad since that was the catalyst to this whole season. but i digress haha. also i love that they brought back our faves, especially MY GUY CHISHIYA!!! (white hair evil genius lol) i heard he was going thru things in real life so he couldn’t film this season but im so thankful he made a cameo. honestly this show is GOATED and i would recommend this show to anyone who likes these action/thriller type of shows. i enjoyed rewatching this with you guys!!! thank you!!! ☺️ ps not sure about the american spin off but as long as they do something completely new with the same concept, it should be good. we’ll see lol

i love how arisu used his experiences in borderland and became a counselor to help his former friends in the games. i think he specifically checks up on them because he still has his memories when he woke up so he keeps tabs on them. also thats why the joker said something big is happening and more people will come to the borderland because of the natural disasters.. i was like huh what is he talking about 🤣🤣 i like how they tied it in. honestly i was surprised with how much i liked this season because it was pretty much off the script. wasn’t my favorite season but it stands up in its own right. aww no i liked tetsu haha i was sad when he died but i wish they gave us a little more time with the characters like they did in the past. i understand the time constraints though. 9.5 out of 10 for me 😬

lowkey this season did not disappoint! i was happy with it despite netflix freestyling this season lol they took some material but kind of made it their own. this whole show will always hold a special place in my heart fr lol i just love the characters and the storyline! thank you guys for checking this out i’m glad you enjoyed it as much as i did 🫶🏽🫶🏽
