her aunt didn't really change. she was always like a bully to yifan even before her brother came into the picture. remember the whole chicken soup thing, the way she behaved when they were called to school about the whole early romance thing, the way they always made yifan feel like they are doing her a favor taking her in and she doesn't deserve good things. even taking her in, they never treating yifan well. when the guy came into the house and was constantly harassing yifan, her aunt was embarrased more than anything and just wanted yifan to shut up about it but never said anything to her brother to stop it despite knowing what exactly what her brother is like.
