lol i just finished binging till ep 28 and thought had to wait a week but here you guys are, thank you!!!!!!

im ngl, maybe it’s cause this was my first cdrama, this show has a special place in my heart. it’s also kind of a comfort show for me. i do agree that some things were dragged out too long, and the series overall could’ve been 1/3 shorter. I personally loved the proposal scene (ik yall said yall liked it too but you both were kind of expecting something more to come from it), but maybe I’m just too cheesy for my own good 😭. the chemistry between the two leads was amazing, and i truly felt like they were a couple unlike some shows i watched where i could tell that they were acting if that makes sense. ik some people kinda say stuff about the main actress (for some reason) but if you see her outside of this role you can see how good of an actress she is. She’s actually very bubbly.

honestly, for me it was one of the my fav proposal scene on screen. i loved how intimate it was. not about the external preparation but more about the emotions of the characters. it was so personal and you could feel the years of pain, yearning, wait coming to an end. i love how authentic it was, with the way sang yan was shaking, mumbling, forgetting what to say, the music box not working, alll of it, it felt real (bai jing ting was soooo good in this scene, truly bringing sang yan to life).

personally for me i like that we got these last few episodes of them just living happily in love together after all that they have gone through all the years that they have waited. its cathartic for them and for us as viewers too. most often shows end at the couple getting together but io always crave to say their life after the happing ending and was so glad and they took the time to give us that here.

they are the same age, both freshmen when they meet and go to class together. its just that she assumed he was senior and asked him where the asked was so he was teasing her about it.
