In the late Joseon Dynasty, it is true that the Andong Kim family and the Pungyang Jo family had a fierce power struggle during the reign of King Cheoljong.

Some of the stuff that is happening in this drama is historically right, like how Cheoljong became king overnight, he was chosen by the grand queen because there wasn't any heir left after last king. And the fight between Kim family and Jo clan is true too.

This is a fusion-era drama based on a drama written by a Chinese writer. This drama is based on historical facts, but it has been boycotted for a while because some scenes are exaggerated or distorted for comic elements... So I hope you guys watch this drama just for fun :)

Jade

Irieezy.

Some of these subs are off, I feel like you'll get more context on Viki. Either way hope you enjoy this show more as it goes on :) a lot of characters definitely

ohhhhhhh.....yay! I love this drama. Plot twisting, it's more than you think. Most Kdrama are 16 episode, I saw 1 kdrama that was 50 episode, but ended up being soooo goood.
