Keycap Designs

Giant Keycap

Giant Keycap — Light Version (NEW)

The new Giant Keycap — Light Version is a lightweight version of our Giant Keycap, specially designed to work with mechanical switches that have a very low actuation force.

By reducing the keycap’s weight, the switch can handle the load more effectively, allowing the keycap to return to its original position after being pressed.

This version is especially recommended if you’re using mechanical switches with a lower actuation force (<50g).

More Customization Options

One of the most exciting features of our Giant Clicker is its modular design, allowing you to create many different layouts!

It doesn’t have to be just one straight clicker. 👀 You can arrange the modules into different shapes and configurations, including:

S-shaped layouts

T-shaped layouts

2×2 layouts

Even massive 3x3 layouts

Mix, match, and experiment—there are so many possibilities for creating your own unique Giant Clicker display!

Features

Support-Free Giant Keycap

Our Giant Keycap is designed to print without supports, helping reduce print time and filament consumption. ✨

Printing Note: Depending on your slicer, you may receive a warning about unsupported areas. This warning can safely be ignored. However, we still recommend monitoring your first print attempt to ensure everything prints correctly. 🤗

Hot-Swappable Stem Design

What happens if the keycap stem breaks? Do you need to reprint the entire keycap?

Don’t worry—we’ve already thought about that! Although the stem may eventually become damaged from repeated use or accidental drops, our Giant Keycap features an easily replaceable hot-swappable stem.

Instead of spending hours reprinting the entire keycap and consuming more filament, you only need to print a replacement stem. It can be printed in just a few minutes, allowing you to get your Giant Clicker working again quickly. 👀

Smart Design Clicker Base

Similar to the keycap, our Giant Clicker Base is carefully designed to reduce filament consumption and improve printing time without sacrificing durability.

This optimized structure helps make such a large model more practical and efficient to print.

So fun!! Can't wait to see all the updates 😍

Karlla Birtchnell

The printers are on... and we can't wait, thank you so much ❤️

Rebekah Bartholomew

This is such an awesome design! I appreciate your thoughtfulness in designing it.

Hi! I just printed and assembled the Giant Clicker using the STL file you provided. The print itself came out fine, and I checked all the parts—there are no obvious printing issues. However, when I press the clicker, it doesn’t return to its original position immediately. It feels like something is slightly stuck or preventing the mechanism from moving back smoothly. Do you have any idea what might be causing this? Is there anything specific I should check or adjust during assembly? Thank you!

Karlla Birtchnell

We printed our first one last night... I have put it together this morning and it looks great, the only issue im having is that when you press the clicker it decompression it does not spring back, can you think of why this maybe I have to pull it back up

Sabrina the Good Witch

Ahhhh I'm so excited this came RIGHT IN TIME for my next show October 29!!! You ROCK! Thank you!!!!!!!

Wow that's so quick! But it seems it doesn't turn out to be functional in your end, but no worries~ we might be able to help! 😊 1. Have you adjusted our default print settings? For example, did you add more walls or increase the infill? If so, this could be the issue. Adding more walls and infill significantly increases the weight of the keycap, which may prevent it from returning to its original position after being pressed. Our recommended settings is: - 2 walls - 5% infill 2. Are you using a silent or low-actuation-force switch, such as a red switch? If so, you can try using a switch with a higher actuation force (around 50 grams or higher), such as a clicky/blue switch. We’ve noticed that certain switches with lower actuation forces (below 50g) can have difficulty pushing the keycap back up after being pressed. We’re also working on a priority update that will include a smaller version of the keycap, specifically designed to work better with mechanical switches that have lower actuation forces. 😊

Karlla Birtchnell

We are having the same issue, I have deduced that the top must be to heavy to snap back up... ours works on its side but not flat on its back... trying to think of a workaround

I didnt change any of the settings, just prited from the file, but I will double check, we also use the blue clickers and never had an issue with them before The clicker is find when its stood on its side its just when its laid flat it doesn't pop back straight away so it doesn't click... they still look super cool

Paul Hernandez

@Justi-Fy Studio I actually had a similar issue. I printed in PETG so I thought maybe the cap might be too heavy for the clickers to return. We are printing in PLA for the cap to try out, but my plan is to use this that will be in partial sun and heat so need it stronger than PLA. I did ensure that the settings are like the ones you listed above.

Sharleen Twyman

OMG mine turned out amazing!!! THANK YOU

Sanne Buiter

Love mine, but it also won't return to its original position like the cap is stuck. Also the hot-swappable stems could only be snapped in place with plyers and it ripped the walls. I printed a batch of both stems, the normal and tight but both had to be forced in. Did not change the settings and I'm using Bambu.

Rebekah Bartholomew

Yep. I have the same issue! I want to try and print it again but I’m worried I’m going to waste filament on another top that doesn’t work right. Maybe too heavy?

Sabrina the Good Witch

I had similar issues as well! I am currently printing his "light" version keycaps to see if it helps and I used the Kailh switches, tried open and box, tried stem high actuation switches. I find when the keycap is sitting not fully set in the kailh switches are allowing it to bounce back but once I fully press them down is when they are partially depressing the switch and not allowing for the "bounce back". Also had the same issue with the swappable stems. Very hard to press in even with the "looser" versions. Hopefully our feedback will help them to adjust future versions! But a great start for sure!! I also just saw in another post the creator said that "2 walls" should be set under strength - which is defaulted to...but in the "sparse infill density" it was supposed to be set to 5% mine defaulted to 8% which I never checked prior to printing and that definitely could be causing the issue! Hope this helps!

Sanne Buiter

I printed another keycap after checking my settings. I use an older version of Bambi because a more recent version gave me horrible results on certain prints. After checking I realised the settings when I open the file are set to 8% Infill, not the 5% that's recommended. I changed it in the global and settings per item to 5%. Now it bounces back without having to pull the cap up again or hold it on its side. Also made cuts on the swabbable stem on the bottom and sides to make them a little smaller, now they fit fine without recking anything. Hope they find an answer to this problem soon!

Mawaddatul Karimah

UPDATE🤗Thank you for the lightweight jumbo clicker version. I printed it with PLA, changed the infill to 5%, and it was a success. I really love it!

AbdulBE

When is the logo customization coming out

ZChan

I printed the light keycap and made sure the setting is configured to 2 walls and 5% infill. I still can't the keycap to bounce back up. What else can I do? I also used the clicky switch, and tried 59g actuation force switch too. Nothing works.

Courtney

The clicker bases need to higher ! We assembled it too and no click - but we put something to raise the clicker mechanism and it clicked lovely

Courtney

Trying to get this to click! Made it Halloween themed for my son’s school fundraising basket!!

Rebekah Bartholomew

I had trouble too. I printed the lightweight clicker top in PLA and it worked fine.

Justi-Fy Studio

Hello everyone! Thank you for your reports! ❤️ After doing a further tests, we found that certain mechanical switches may not return to their original position properly when pressed. Particular, mechanical switches that is labeled with actuation force 50gf and below. To address this, we created a Giant Keycap – Light Version. You can redownload the files to get the latest update. ☺️ But, if you want to keep using the original Giant Keycap, you can try replacing the mechanical switch. Check our recent post for troubleshooting and recommended switches: 👉 https://www.patreon.com/JustiFyStudio/posts/giant-modular-171693911 Thank you for your patience and support! 🙏❤️

Justi-Fy Studio

That’s cool! Can you share, what work around did you do to make it work? ☺️ This would really help us with our investigation as we work on improving the clicker mechanism for everyone. So far, we’ve found that certain mechanical switch brands/types may not be fully compatible with our model.

Wenddy Lazaro

hi! I cant find the file for the giant keycap... please help

Justi-Fy Studio

Hello! You can find the file in the attachment of this post... You'll see the download button at the end of the post. ☺️

CM

Hi! Where can I get the file for the small clicker that's in the picture next to the Giant Clicker? I like howthe hole on that keychain hole is oriented.

Kim Conway

Hi, I just printed this overnight and it came out horrible on the outside. Do you have to use the fuzzy skin? I removed it and kept everything else the same and I have a lot of separation between lines. I noticed the speed is much higher printing this. I'm trying to get 14 printed by Saturday morning, so I'm in a bit of a time crunch.. Mostly, because I just discovered this amazing file!!

Justi-Fy Studio

Hi! ☺️ May I know which 3D printer, slicer, and filament you used? You can also send us a message through our social media pages and share an actual photo of your print. We'd be happy to take a look and help you identify the possible cause of the print failure.

3DPrintz4You

Are you able to fix the file on your end? Thank you! ( To fix this wall problem)

Justi-Fy Studio

Hello! May I know what wall issue you encountered with your print? 😊 You can also send us a message through our Facebook or Instagram page so we can assist you in troubleshooting and resolving your print issue. We'd be happy to help! 🤗

Marcos Reyes

I paid for the Patreon just for this giant key, but it doesn't work. I also printed the smaller version, and it’s the same issue. I think you should fix this, since I essentially paid for nothing.
