Hotwire Insolve Page 1 pencil & thumbnail breakdown (Patreon)

I'm essentially introducing Silver City as a character here. I wanted to make sure the Datalus building was framed in the distance, and as you make your way down to street-level, the buildings become immediately very dense and you see signs that give you an idea of what SC is like. Including a big sign on the left with pretty much the same picture of the Datalus Building that says "An American City, by an American Company." Right next to it is an ad for the latest CyberMods that both has the Datalus logo, and makes mention of visiting an "Alter," which is essentially an Apple Store for body parts. Throw in a soda ad, an ad for a firearm company, some palm trees to show this is probably California, then an Alter location on the right.

Then in the second panel we see J&K approaching their latest collection. I specifically have an extra on the left that seems to be a corpo running late for something, making sure to show the neck plugs too, and then a more casually-dressed person with a robotic arm on the other side. Just really trying to drive home that this is a bustling, dangerous city where lierally everyone you see is a cyborg.
