The Woman in Magenta (nude version+BTS) (Patreon)

Nude version of "Woman in Magenta" is kinda funny... the name doesn't work anymore...

Anyway, I actually sketched this one out a while ago. Like MONTHS ago. Here's the original sketch:

This tiny photo is the only full picture of the Woman in Red pinup I could find. I think it may actually just be a screenshot from a behind the scenes video for The Matrix, considering the signature isn't there. I wasn't interested in tracing it anyway, so tiny picture for reference is enough for me!

This illustration was also an excuse to try this thing I saw in one of Masamune Shirow's "Intron Depot" artbooks (specifically it was the one called "Blades"). It showed some steps of an illustration of a cyber-angel lady with her boobs out in which one of the steps was a render of some chrome primitive shapes in a 3D program arranged in the shape of her armor. I think Shirow did some photo-bashing rather than using it as reference, but it had me thinking I could do something like that. I knew the reflections would certainly be a challenge without reference.

So I made a rough maquette out of primitives in Blender, and made a fake photo studio skybox to get the reflections nice and believable/accurate.

I honestly really like how it turned out. It's a little unfortunate the lingerie hides most of the places where you can see her reflecting against herself, specifically in the thighs and on left breast. Speaking of the breasts, you may have noticed they are also falling a little more to the side compared to the version with lingerie. Because even tho she's a chromed-out cyborg, I find it important/erotic to show that kind of thing. THAT'S the Quality and Attention To Detail you can expect around here!
