Hotel Trouble Early Animatic with Extra Sequences (Patreon)

an early animatic (well, some of it is rough animated, actually), of Hotel Trouble with a couple extra sequences. Including Nova and Kyrie having a conversation in the elevator, and Kyrie fighting her way through more goons in the lobby.

I didn't end up finishing these cuz I didn't have any voice actors, really. My wife provided Kyrie's limited vocals for the final Hotel Trouble animation, but i didn't have Nova. I'll likely go with a non-spouse for Kyrie's voice in the future too (sorry, lizzi!).

this was also before i made up subdermal armor being a thing all assholes with guns have, so Kyrie is just legitimately killing these guys haha. eventually, i thought it was better if our heroes weren't just flippantly murdering people. so they just get knocked out from bullets now 🙂

i also liked this animation of Kyrie shooting from cover, so i tied that down and nothing else in the extra sequences. this made it to my socials a long, long time ago before Hotel Trouble was even released.

Ultimately, I decided on actually showing how Kyrie got the better of those 3 goons that barge into the suite and calling it a day on Hotel Trouble. I actually went over that stuff already, which you can see on my website if you didn't know.

til next time!
