We thought of this little icon as a kind of sigil. There was even a little email exchange to see if we couldn't give it a tasteful magic tan. A brief sunbed of an email thread to get that extra crisp of intention on it.
Nothing too high heat in this case.
But there has been some talk about what using these kinds of magical technologies might look like in situations where the dial is turned up a bit.
I'm thinking about live events in particular!
So as we approach coming back to play live, We are also starting to feel out possibilities of how concepts like these might be folded into a few experiments!
This post & potentially some posts following it are just to lay down a trail of breadcrumbs for anyone in this little inner sanctum that is interested in playing along!
Helpful definition rundown from Peter J Carroll's blog:
✣
Aleister Crowley defined Magic as: -
‘The science and art of causing change in conformity with will.’
Dion Fortune defined it as: -
‘The science and art of causing changes in consciousness in conformity with will.’
I have increasingly come to regard or define Magic as: -
'The Use of Imaginary Concepts to Create Real Effects.’

Maybe this doesn't land with anyone here, but for the magical & magically curious:
have you had any experience incorporating magic into art? What sources did you use? What were your experiences like? What are you curious about? Any thoughts or questions arise? You're in on the master planning session if you want to be!
