Hello lovelies, it feels like its been longer than a month since I wrote one of these but I have some pics in my phone so it’s time for show and tell.

Idk about you guys, but when I was a small girl in elementary, I lived in FL and down there, they were really into show and tell. We’d all get hyped as kids to bring in our favorite thing and talk about it.

One time, I brought in a purple geode my mom had collected, I thought it was the coolest thing. Only like 3 other kids thought it was as cool as I did. But then even I got distracted when someone brought in a hamster and we all put our legs together to make a cage to let him run around in.

In fact, I can’t remember a single other show and tell besides the one where someone brought their parent but whatever the parent’s profession, I wasn’t as interested as I was in the hamster and wanted to go back to making the ring to watch the lil nugget run around lol.

Anyway, side quest returns to main quest lol.

I FORGOT EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED THIS MONTH BUT ILL REMEMBER THROUGH PICS, LETS GO!

Oh yeah! A while ago, a friend sent me some canned salmon he caught and I decided to make a meatloaf! I never had a fish meatloaf before but meatloaves were “high bougie” stuff as a kid since it had a lot of protein so I was excited and OMG YALL IT ALMOST TASTED LIKE A CRAB CAKE IN THE BEST WAY!

I also tried to get a pic of it finished but as you can see, everyone liked it a bit much and I got the tail end pic xD

Oh! We also were coming home from a discount grocery pickup and holy cow, we saw this random light show at one of our parks and we excitedly went! It was so cool. It reminds me of those days when the rich would spend their money to entertain and encourage more spending by funding the arts and fun. Or at least that’s what I read about.

But anyway, it was sponsored by a bunch of corporations but it was so nice. As a kid, we’d go around to look at other families christmas lights for a holiday event and getting to see an actual light show was amazing after so long!

I loved all the little whoville stuff and the grinch, gah so cute. BUT OMG THE WREATH AROUND TEH CANDLES WAS TRIPPY. I loved it.

My little visual stimming heart was overflowing lol.

Oh! We also saw this car covered in lights, it was so cool! I got a pic of this one but then the next day, we saw a pickup and I didn’t get a pic. I hope we see a ton of people in xmas tree cars lmao, I’m like a magpie, distracted by how pretty and glittery it is in the night xD

I tried to make fermented cabbage. Idk how its going but it doesn’t look infected… Fingers crossed so far!

Oh! Oh my god, so I don’t seem to react well to milk stuff so I’ve been staying away but omg I miss cheese and I hate how overpriced it all is at the store and it barely tastes like cheese.

BUT I FOUND AN AGAR AGAR CHEESE SOLUTION and omg, it’s so good, just uses a bit of plant milk and agar agar and a few spices/nutritional yeast and it’s SO GOOD! It firms up so well and it takes less than fifteen minutes to get melty cheese and it solidifies quickly so you can shred it and just yes, I love to cook and I’ve missed the umami of cheese so I’m so happy! You can see it on the sammiches, IT LOOKS REAL WHAT THE FUCK AHHH! I LOVE IT! But there’s some kale, chicken salad, oh it was amazing!

Oh! We also made vegan yogurt for tang and omg it’s GOOD TOO! It isn't goopy like real yogurt but when you just need a drizzle of milky tang, it’s gonna do you right.

OH ALSO! I’ve finally started a new skill set. I’m trying to learn wood burning and I think it’s been going okay! It still looks a bit crude but I think the gist is there and I’m proud of it! I have 3 shelves and I intend to make them all flower themed w/ one flower in the center w/ designs around it. I might further trick it out but I get overwhelmed with too many tasks on my plate so we start with just this!

Kupo can’t believe it, look at his face. I learned to growl/groan at him while he’s on his back and it gets him so excited, he starts growl groaning and rubbing his butt into the carpet and swishing around all over making ridiculous old man grunts and it’s just the cutest thing that I can talk at him about it and ramp it up more and eventually we play fefifofum or he comes to cuddle after he’s done stimming lol.

OH I MADE THE BEST PICKLED GARLIC CARROTS! Idk how, I don’t even think I saved the recipe but it was like several garlic confit nuggets in with some carrots. Oh and the vinegar sauce makes excellent marinades or anything to dress up some veggies, etc.

OMG YALL SEE THIS CARROT TOO? This carrot couple. I call them… the clingers. Crazy that carrots whole life was spent wrapped around that other carrot.

Makes me think of codependency. THE CARROT OF CODEPENDENCY.

OMG also, I didn’t get a pic but Kupo was barking like crazy on the enclosed porch so I step out to see what the hubbub is about because I’m out there for a smoke and I pull the freaking curtain back and I shit you not, yall there was a fucking deer in my neighbors yard not 20 feet from me.

Male deer, tall as fuck, it’s antlers are taller than me and it’s looking at us with this huge eye, particularly Kupo who is yapping his head off and doesn’t even come up to the deer’s knee.

Eventually, deer looked like it felt awkward getting yapped at by a French fry so it left lmao

BUT DUDE IT WAS SO COOL WHAT FUCK I WANTED A PIC but I didn’t have my phone and it woulda bolted if I left. It was so fast. So cool.

I love deer.
