Hallo after the holidays! Its time for another show and tell!

(Okay were gonna see about uploading it to my website and sharing the links to Fansly/Patreon bc Fansly cuts off text and so if I make it on the website, I can just send the link and folks who wanna read it can do so ❤️ This way, I can yap as much as I like and it won’t get cut off! The site needs an overhaul but we’re working with the energy levels and materials we got, lol.) Please feel free to respond in the comments sections on Patreon/Fansly until I have more energy to figure out a better solution! ❤️

Hello, Moon! I’m glad to hear you got to enjoy a real vacation. Your digital paintings look lovely (although I think your website may be cutting off parts of the pics? not 100% sure). I do like the idea of making the speedpaints with you talking about them. Sounds like a chill/cozy type of video to enjoy. Also, omg that ostrich bone! That thing is as big as Kupo is xD This last month has been pretty quiet for me, with a few notable exceptions. My friends and I had a ghibli movie night (watching Howl’s Moving Castle), which was really fun. It was a couple peoples first time watching it, so it was fun to watch their reactions, and I really like the soundtracks for a lot of the Ghibli movies. I also went to a larger social event, a big game night at a local restaurant. I think this was literally my first time eating at a restaurant since the start of the pandemic, and there was a pretty decent turnout. There ended up being four different tables with D&D one shots playing, and this was also my first real chance to play D&D in a few years. I was definitely a little nervous going into it, but I’m happy to say I found a new local playgroup through it and had a really fun time. My family doesn’t do much to celebrate the holidays, so the last month has otherwise been pretty chill for me. A few small presents were exchanged, but I think my favorite part of this time of year is a fairly recent little New Years tradition I started doing. I call it a “Milestone Inventory”—throughout the year, I keep a list with big and little milestones/moments that I can look back on at the end of the year. I personally find it much more fun/meaningful than New Years resolutions, since it feels nicer to me to look back on everything I did during a year rather than to try to hold myself to an arbitrary standard going into a new year (though to each their own, of course). This year I moved, reconnected with some old friends, went to a lot more game nights (Magic and D&D, among other board games), and read some nice books. My favorite, oddly enough, was probably one I reread from a year or two ago—“The Age of Magical Overthinking” by Amanda Montell. It’s a lovely book about explaining various common biases/fallacies people experience every day. Very informative, but also easily digestible. Thank you again for sharing, Moon, and for making these little spaces for connection! 💜
