Crafting Lucky Paradox #70: Me vs. the Sun (Patreon)
Content
Hello everyone!
Good news to start with: the three events I had left are now rendered, so the narrative portion of the update is complete. I am now fully immersed in the renders for the erotic scenes and the animations, and of those I am at 6 out of 16.
And Goth Charlotte is ready!
The first ones were the slowest, because that is where I defined how they would be presented and how the lighting would work in each of them. I had several rough days deep in post-production, wrestling with the lights more than I would care to admit. Drawing 2D shadows for the backgrounds is slow and thankless work, and on top of that the sun’s rays kept slipping into the framing and ruining shots I had already considered finished.
Nothing serious, but after hours on the same thing you start to look at the sun as a personal enemy, haha (even worse if you work all day shut away in a “cave” like I do).
Where the change is most noticeable is in the nighttime scenes, which were the ones that gave me the most trouble. I also added a soft blur to the backgrounds during the animations, so that the bodies stand out more. It is a small detail, but it makes a big difference in the result. Here is a comparison:
As for the languages, the system to insert the texts is now ready, and the new options appear in the menu. There is still a lot of testing left before the release, because I do not want any cut-off text or odd issues to appear, but the technical part is already resolved.
Regarding the date, my intention is to release during the first half of October. I do not yet have an exact day, and I would rather not promise one only to have to move it later.
For that very reason, this is the last progress report before the release. I want to focus entirely on what remains, so the next post you see will be the announcement with the date.
That is all for today!
I thank you all for continuing to support me in bringing this project forward. You are the best and I love you very much!
And see you soon with more news!
