π TBX WORKSHOP 1.1 BETA β PREVIEW (Patreon)
Content
The next TBX Workshop update is getting closer.
Version 1.1 BETA expands the maintenance system with more depth around individual components, diagnosis and servicing β while keeping the existing TBX failure system at the center of everything.
Some of the new features currently planned for the update include:
β’ Persistent component conditionSupported parts will keep their own condition and usage history.
β’ Diagnosis before replacementSome naturally occurring faults will first show symptoms, requiring inspection before the affected component is identified.
β’ Preventive maintenanceInspect supported components and replace them before they fail.
β’ New & reconditioned partsDifferent replacement options with their own prices, service times and modeled lifetimes.
β’ Temporary repairsSelected electrical and control faults will be able to receive temporary fixes instead of an immediate full replacement.
β’ More varied warning behaviourWarning periods and intermittent symptoms will differ depending on the type of fault.
β’ Optional Quick Job failuresQuick Job trucks can have their own simulated failure and service history, completely separate from your owned vehicles.
β’ Trailer Service BookA new system for recording trailer inspections, observed distance and available chassis, wheel and body wear readings.
There are also improvements being made to vehicle switching, saved-state handling and interrupted service recovery.
This is still a BETA preview, so some parts may continue to change before release.
More information β and the full changelog β will come closer to release. π§π
