What started as a small side experiment between updates for TBX Mechanical Failures is already turning into something much bigger.

This is the first proper preview of TBX Phone — a fully simulated phone system designed for ETS2.

And at this point, I think it’s safe to say this is probably going to become much more than just an idea. 👀

The goal is to make the phone feel like a real part of your driver’s life, not just another menu.

Right now the concept already includes things like:

• Messages

• Phone calls

• Contacts

• Mail

• Simulated social media

• Short-form video feed

• Driver-focused tools

• Reminders

• Road-related utilities

• AI-powered conversations

The screenshots already show the direction I’m going for — a full phone interface with its own home screen, messages, contacts, social apps, driver tools and more.

One of the biggest parts of the project is the idea of having AI-driven contacts.

That means characters such as family members, friends, your boss or other drivers could eventually react to what is happening during your journeys.

You could get a message while driving.

You could reply.

The conversation could continue later.

And the system could remember what happened before.

I also want the phone to feel natural to use in-game — something that appears over ETS2 like an actual phone interface instead of another typical mod overlay.

This is still an early preview and a lot can change, but the first results are already way better than I expected.

I originally started this just to see if the idea could work.

Now I’m genuinely starting to think this could become one of the most ambitious TSC projects yet.
