Hamas and much of the Middle East do not. Their values are not modern, not enlightened. Their values are war over peace, dominance over coexistence. No free speech, no free expression. Murder, barbarity, torture. Hamas seeks to build a caliphate on the rubble of Israel. That is how they find purpose in their lives. They murder Palestinians to do that. They murder Israelis to do that. And once they do Israel, they want the rest of the Western World. This is not even controversial if you know even the smallest bit about them. Unfortunately the people with only the shallowest understanding of morality and reality are also the loudest, angriest, most entitled and narcissistic people and so they insist on being heard. Tim is not capable of making those neural connections apparently. All he can do is find something to say that Israel is doing wrong. Nothing deep or interesting or new about that. Nothing. Muslims calling Israel an apartheid society seems very hypocritical to me. Most Islamic societies are informally apartheid, as women and religious minorities certainly don't have the same type of rights. The Pakistani constitution officially states only Muslims are allowed to be president / prime minister. Non-Muslims are not allowed to go to Mecca, whereas you don't have to be Catholic to go to the Vatican or Sikh to visit the Golden Temple.
