[ Announcement ] Animation 12: The Mad Boober (Patreon)

I have begun work on the next animated short. I am calling it a "short" for now, as I am not quite sure how long it will end up. (I am of a mind currently to call anything under 5 minutes [approx.] is a "short" and anything longer [or only slightly shorter with a grand presence] will be called a "grOw/mOvie.")

The animated short will be based on my 2017 B.E. Illustration that first appeared on DeviantArt: StupendousGirl and Wonderous Woman vs. The Mad Boober !

I have taken the last week to mull the idea over and in the last 2 days, I put fingers to keyboard, and hand to stylus. I typed out the initial script yesterday, and the expanded it even more today. Unlike PriorTITy Delivery, this has no story (yet) behind the concept beyond the initial image (seen above), so I had to flesh one out.

I also took a while and listened to over 20 song tracks to use as the soundtrack in the film. I like to do this early in the creative process for inspiration in the music while drawing and animating.

I then sketched out the initial storyboard (quick sketches like a comic showing each scene), and even began to put together an animatic (only preliminary).

I don't have anything to show just yet, but more will come later in the month. This WILL be a multi-month animation, like PriorTITy Delivery, but I hope it own't take as long. And, like PriorTITy Delivery, this is a Patreon animation ($5 tier and higher get free).
