August 6 it is! (Patreon)

Okay, the consensus seems to be that August 6 in the evening will work out best for everyone. We're gonna do this a little differently: I'm gonna work up something on YouTube or Ustream or FB or something else, whatever works easiest for doing something utterly free with video that I can make private for just you guys. I'm thinking an hour and change, starting at around 7:00 pm EDT, both in case of tech issues and because Game Of Thrones is on later. I will give you the details in a day or two after I figure them out. 

Meantime, this is a good thread to make requests for what I should play! Someone already asked me to do "Hard Love" by Bob Franke, and I'd love to, so how about this be Cover Night -- I mean, if you really want I'll do my stuff, but I think it would be a blast to do other people's stuff. As long as I'm capable of learning it in a week, and singing it by myself, I'm willing to try most anything. 

(As a for-instance, there's a very good chance I'll do Madonna's "Material Girl".)  

If you want me to improv a song or two or three, mention that as well, and we'll set aside the time. Oh, and, I'll need a big finisher. "Rocket Ride" is still on the table, but if we're gonna play, play. :)
