Based on that quiet, humble, dignified display of Feb. 7, 2017.

Proudly Elizabeth Warren is reading

A letter, ‘twas penned by Coretta Scott King.

Jeff Beauregard Sessions as Attorney General

Would discriminate against blacks in everything.

Up shouts a turtle-necked, frothing and spittle-flecked

Awful old white man to say “How dare you

Impugn this man? I forbid you to tell what he did!

Strike from the record!”... it’s McConnell’s SNAFU.

Four other senators read out the letter,

But they were all men, so I guess it’s okay.

If Mitch had just let her read without commenting,

No one would have blinked, but now it’s gone on all day.

Look on his countenance, all thought of governance

Lost in the haze of his power-mad spew,

He loves every groan and wince of his constituents,

Suffering under McConnell’s SNAFU.

Back in ‘09 when Barack was inaugurated,

Mitch swore that he’d only last for one term.

He blocked legislation, he lied and he hated

And our country degraded while McConnell stood firm.

Now Mitch says “Dems, you lost, now you must pay the cost,

Shut up and sit down, we’ve a country to screw.”

Vile old hypocrite, lying and full of shit,

Strike from the Senate -- McConnell, adieu!

This is the first time I have ever heard this. I love it and it's now going to become a regular on my playlist.
