Mods like this are only available on the Java version; however, they do have a DragonFire mod in the bedrock store. Also, if you wish to download this for minecraft Java you will need to become a patreon.

What about Lotus and Ace for a hybrid... Lace or Atus a Lotus with a orangeish would look nice plus some other features obviously, but still...

I can't get it to load because it says it is missing a license. I have tried updating to the latest version of forge, but it still gave me the same error message. I've spent over an hour trying to scour the internet for a solution, but nothing is working and my daughter really wants to play. Any advise? Please and thanks.

Hi - I'm just a parent but spent a few hours trying to sort this for my son and finally got it working but initially this is what happened for us too - we got a license error. So, assuming you've followed the installation guide and put the downloaded java from Patreon in the mods folder? I then opened the minecraft launcher and clicked on 'installations'. I then clicked the 1.12.2forge14.23.5 version - on that page there is a window to essentially tell it where to get the information from for the game - sorry I can't remember the exact wording because my son is reluctant to get off the PC and let me check now we got it working. But I opened that and then selected the .minecraft folder as the location, when I then selected play for this installation it loaded in the mod. It's really obvious it's loading the mod, so you'll know right away if you get it right, and you start with an egg and bones in your inventory. Once my son has had a go if you are still stuck I'll boot him off and have a look at the exact thing I did to get it working, :)

Hi I've put a wee explanation of how I got it working on the comment above - as I said if it's not clear (and apologies in advance) I'll try pop on later once my son has had a wee go and be more specific about what we did to get it working :)

(ERROR REPORT) We're having the same issue here (also a daughter); the file doesn't have license information that used to be optional in earlier versions of Minecraft but is now required for Minecraft 1.16.5. I used the latest version of forge 36.1.0 and still have the issue. Please release a version with the now required license info. It looks like (because the mod doesn’t have license info) it needs an old version of forge to run 1.12.2.

Anonymous

The old forge version doesn’t require the license info so it allows the mod to run without that info. Huge problem with this is most other mods you may have won’t work with the 1.12.2 forge. So get ready to swap between the mods you have active in the folder. It would be such a more awesome thing to just put the license info into the file so it can be used on updated versions of forge. Thank you.

Anonymous

I'm seeing the same license issue. Any news on a fix for the latest version? Also how do we go about using this on a multi player server?

I have dragon mounts and the new textured ones but I would like one that looks less smooth and more square but not like an ender dragon. Does anyone have any ideas? I want to show a picture but not able to paste it here.

you should right click on the dragon if its next to you, but if it keeps flying off hold down V and then click follow or summon while holding down V
