Hey found your reactions after watching the season 3 trailer. I've been following the series for a while and have some knowledge on the background events and crew responses. A lot of people had that question after the episode aired and the official word was the uncontrolled nature of Nyneave's outburst created visible light - so a split healing weave (nice catch! not many caught the individual weaves there.) plus air (her hair and the dust being blown) plus spirit (logain's weave's being blown away), plus something that made light. I think on close watch it holds up. But I was with you on that first watch. Btw, once you've finished the season, check out the behind the scenes for this one, they show the practical shot for the gentling scene and it's just the best. Also make sure to check out the origin shorts, they cover stuff like the breaking, the fall of manetheren and the power more in depth, not to mention they are beautifully animated.
