This episode gets a lot of hate and I've never really understood it. I think because it follows directly from Heaven Sent which was damn near perfect. Also with Clara and Me at the end I really feel like Moffat was saying 'hey Big Finish here's something to do'. They never did, I'd imagine because they never got Jenna Coleman or Maisie Williams on board. They also never got Peter Capaldi or Matt Smith come to think of it. Though Big Finish is a small company with a cult following so probably mostly budget. By the way if you haven't and you like audio dramas then Big Finish is absolutely brilliant (though not exactly cheap). They tend to get the original cast for most of their stories and tell stories that just couldn't be done on TV. One series I love by them is The War Master, they are stories following The Master played by Derek Jacobi who Played Yana/The Master in Martha's run before regenerating into Simm's Master. Sorry for the tangent
