Anxiety was voiced by Maya Hawke (good ol' Robin Buckley!) Drove me nuts until I looked it up, but now I hear it perfectly. The writers Meg LeFauve and Dave Holstein did an unsettlingly fantastic job of depicting a panic attack. I burst into tears each time I've watched it. It is so accurate and just hits me right in the empathy bone for poor Riley. If anything, these series of movies present a perspective I've never seen. I was taught to fight every "bad" emotion as a child. Don't cry or you'll be yelled at, don't get angry, anxiety is just nerves and anxiety attacks are weakness... I'd give anything to save children from feeling that way about their emotions... welp, there I go again, choking up! Such a great followup to the last film, I kinda hope they keep it going...
