What a finale!

I love the length of episodes tbh. Most shows on networks have 20+ episode seasons.

The actor was 100% playing the song. He learned it for this show. Master of puppets also skyrocketed up charts just like Kate bush

If he made it up the rope the demo bats would have followed them into Hawkins. Eddie was leading them away from the gate

If Eddie had just died normally to me it wouldn’t have had the impart. He kept running over and over. He decided in that moment he couldn’t do that anymore. He couldn’t risk them getting into Hawkins after seeing what they can do. His arc was very satisfying.

I get where you're coming from but they've been seen as guards the whole time. They've had access to these gates for ages and were guarding the water-gate. They've never once went through.

I would also say it was exactly what he said: Buying more time. If he left, they'd fly right back to defend Vecna. If the other team had succeeded already, the bats wouldn't have been attacking anymore. Since they definitely were...he led them on a chase rather than let them go after the other three. He saved everyone by keeping them occupied. Hero. 😁

I reckon if I was watching them in my own time I would've loved the lengths too but when I had to squeeze in other stuff too it was a bit long.

I have a theory that Brenner was actually One's father. One talked about how his mother had done terrible things AND she called in Brenner to take Henry away. But Henry never showed us what she did or how she knew Brenner. And that's why Brenner called all the children HIS sons and daughters, maybe they were? One also said that Brenner tried to recreate him, but never went into detail. I also have a more farfetched one that Lonnie (Will and Jonathan's dad) is also somehow related to Brenner, causing the latent powers that Will seems to have. Think about it...how did Will communicate with Joyce over the phone in S1 without El's help? Projecting telepathically through speakers is totally an "Eleven-like" power. Ugh! Either way, I can't wait for S5 and I've really loved watching these with you!
