Quick Fix for Video Playback / Cropping Issues on the Patreon App 📱or Web Browser 🌐 (Patreon)

Hi everyone,

I wanted to address a quick note regarding a playback issue some of you might be experiencing.

It looks like there is a known bug with the Patreon mobile app player where it automatically crops vertical (9:16) videos, unfortunately cutting off the bottom portion of the screen.

If your videos are getting cut off, here are two easy workarounds to view them in full format:

Use a Web Browser: Try accessing Patreon via a mobile or desktop web browser (like Safari / Chrome / Opera) instead of the app. Zooming out in your browser usually fixes the player issue completely, allowing you to view and expand the full video properly.

Zoom Out (on PC): If you are watching on a computer and the video is still slightly cropped, you can simply use your web browser's zoom-out feature to view the entire video.

Thank you so much for your support and patience while navigating this app glitch! Let me know if this works for you.
