Hi folks,

I'm putting out chapter 13 as a preview of the next release. I won't charge you until I add chapters 14 and 15, but I wanted to get you something to read since my health issues delayed things. I'm mostly recovered now, and back to writing.

I hope you enjoy the chapter. Please let me know if you have any feedback, positive or negative. There are some things in this chapter that I'm not quite sure about, and I may make further changes to it in the future, but it'd be helpful to know how people feel about it one way or another.

So is Harri a priest of Wolf now? I was hoping Shavala would get that honor since they already knew each other.

I think both the old and new gods are very reluctant to deliberately grant someone access to two magics, especially when that person is a warden's bondmate and doesn't have the typical restrictions on their power. Snake being the obvious exception, since he gave Rusol a third magic, but that was a special circumstance (and Snake doesn't mind if he destabilizes the Collision -- he's trying to do so on purpose). To add a storytelling reason, Shavala's already the most powerful member of the group (from a "do you want to destroy an army?" perspective), so she doesn't really need more than she has. I hope that makes sense!

Hey Ivy, glad you're back and feeling better. I wanted to let you know, I read this chapter twice and it reads great to me. Not sure what parts you had problems with, because from this side it was very captivating.

Thanks for the chapter! I was not expecting Harri to get chosen by Wolf. Agonizing to end on a cliffhanger but that gets the ppl coming back.
