(Update Dec 26, 2020: I added a new scene in Chapter 29. There were also some smaller edits, but nothing big enough to point out besides the new scene.)

Here's the early release for Book 3, chapters 28 to 30!

Like the last few releases, this one is a little longer than normal because I was trying to reach a specific spot. There's at least one more full release still to go to finish off Book 3. There might be a bit more than that, but I'm not sure yet.

Please let me know if you have any feedback.

I love the new chosar character, I feel like I could read a whole book based on her. Any hope of a chapter release before the new year?

Sadly, it won't be before the new year. I try to aim for three weeks between releases, and I might manage that (which would put it in early January), but I'm also trying to tie up Book 3 and I want to make sure to get it right, so it might extend to four weeks this time around (mid-January). I'm not entirely clear yet on whether the next release will finish off the book, or whether I'll need a bit more. There's definitely going to be quite a bit of work involved for this next batch.

My only comment, which should have been made earlier, is about the vitality of the awakened woman. I would think she would have been too weak to do much of anything?

That's a good question. She wasn't technically asleep, nor frozen. She was in stasis, which means time had stopped within the pod. From her perspective, she closed her eyes, then opened them a moment later and her entire world had changed.

Ivy, thank you for this epic. I should have subscribed earlier as you deserve every dollar. How can we help in promoting your work?

Regarding the story, I put down quite a few ideas on a different site as Lurker Anon. I am very curious how many of my fan theories will turn out to be correct. With the new Chopar battle mage, I am now quite uncertain of the Yassi theory from before. Meanwhile, I am very curious about some of the other loose threads. Like who spoke to Corec when he was 5? Who actually cut Rikard's stirrup straps? And what mission has Shanna been on this whole time? Love your story and I am very addicted.

Hmm, that's a good question. Certainly mentioning the story to others would be great. I usually point people to the Royal Road version, since I find that to be the friendliest interface of the sites I post on. And it couldn't hurt to mention that a revised version of Book 1 is available on Amazon. The story itself hasn't changed, but I polished up the wording quite a bit. I'm still working on revising Book 2, and debating whether I need to add any scenes, or just focus on polishing it.

Most of these questions will be answered in time :)
