Today I am sharing the SECOND BATCH of Beta (testing) files for Law & Disorder.

Further Updates:

Oct 3:

Added the "Life Reaping" Misbehavior. Will publish further functionalities on it soon (usable on any age, etc)

Oct. 1:

fixed an error introduced by yesterday's update

added one more Misbehavior

These are still TESTING FILES. They're likely going to have hiccups. I'll keep editing them as we go.

You can try them out and let me know if you have small suggestions / requests regarding the mod, so I can try to integrate that in.

You can also let me know what issues you encounter along the way

Since last beta update, I:

- Fixed "fines" not being able to process payment property unless Sim has certain traits- fixed post sentence separation chance pop up - Finished up with the pesky parts of "mandatory distance order"- made small adjustments based on Suggestions / requests- adjusted onboarding- Fixed problem with jail sentences not Ending- and more!

If you want to try these files:

Make sure you have Toolbox v1.176 or newer installed

Install the included "law & disorder" package and "law & disorder" script file.

Check out the mod's description page. I'm still writing it up, but some sections are fairly filled up and will help you.

Hey, absolutely loved the mod! I found that there is an issue once a sim gets sent to jail, there's no way to get them out of there early and also, the sentence continued to go on. Not sure if this is a known issue.

Having a lot of fun playing around with this. My one suggestion would be to not have sims in the Criminal career lose their jobs when sentenced. I get it for the other careers but it seems a little odd for that one.

Hi Lumpinou! Ive been enjoying this mod so much thus far! This may not be the right place to provide this update but im genuinely so confused with using discord- I just wanted to let you know that in my game everything works as stated except for visiting someone in Jail. My sim gets taken to the police station, waits at the front desk, gets the notification that the incarcerated sim is transferred to the jail and to go down the hall and make a left/right but I can never find that sim on the lot or in any of the cells. I have the base game police station- I never replaced it with another one from the gallery if that helps. Outside of that this mod has been wonderful and Im so happy to get to play with the Beta version. Thank you!

Hi, ran into a problem with this that could potentially break the game for everyone. My test sim committed a major crime, and the sentence was to pay a large fine. However, the game did not properly record that it was paid when I did so. The "pay legal fees" option did NOT disappear from the mailbox, and further testing after using a game cheat to give myself more money and paying it again also failed to register. This of course meant that when the 24 hours was up it sent the repo man who proceeded to take EVERYTHING of value from my sim's house, including all ability to fill basic needs (took his bed, the toilet and shower out of the bathroom, and the stove/fridge from the kitchen.) In total roughly 100k in value was taken for a 7k sentence.

i have noticed that hacking doesn't go to a hearing you just constantly keep getting the pop up

Hey I have a suggestion, it would be good if there was an assault or touching option for female sims, I know it seems inappropriate but when you've experienced it, it's different, more justice for women even in the sims that would be good

So I've run into another potentially breaking issue. If your sim has the "Carefree" reward trait (from the aspiration points store) and thus is immune to becoming Tense, the "Reported" and "Target of Police" moodlets, which use the Tense category, can't be applied. This results in the offending sim not getting arrested, when the police officers spawn they don't actually come after you.

Hi, the CPS features became their own mod and they aren't in this therefore. I'm still building on that, to finish in a few days likely

Will this work with the current version of the sims and toolbox 1.177, or does it have to be the older version with toolbox 1.176?
