DOWNLOAD & Installation:

1 - remove files from previous versions, if any

2 - REQUIRED: Lumpinou's Toolbox Library-Mod.If you don't already have it, grab the REQUIRED "Lumpinou's Toolbox" Library-Mod here (alt: here), and put it into your mods folder or one subfolder, NO DEEPER.

3 - grab the .package file from this post (link below), and put it into your mods folder or one subfolder.

hi! i know your master list said all of your mods should be good, and i hate to be that person but up until now on the master list of mods of yours this is the first that didn't have its own "march 2023" note on it... i am so sorry and i super appreciate you and your mods, I am just currently updating everything because something is messing with my game. i dont *think* it is any of your mods but it would make me feel so much better to redownload if i was super sure.

Hi, if they weren't updated for the patch, they didn't need to be. All my mods are fine

Love this mod. I use it alongside rambunctious religions to flesh out my sims characters and cultures. I would love the aspiration you mentioned as well. That would be really fun!

I have to ask. Would you possibly think of making a separate empathy mod for these specific modules? As an empath, this would be a dream: "- Psychic Sims are sensitive to others’ emotions. If someone near is very happy, very sad or very angry, Psychic Sims get a matching +1 moodlet that will remain until that other Sim is gone. - Psychic Sims are also sensitive to the presence of Ghosts. They can perceive the ghosts’ most powerful memory – that of their death. Near a ghost, a psychic Sim gets a +3 uncomfortable moodlet."

Are you saying that you want these things to be separated from the rest of the mod? The wording would then make little sense because the moodlets are written for a sim who is psychic

More like an alternate version for empath sims? If that makes sense?

I doubt it is anything major (I'm using the mod with no problems) but just wanted you to be aware that the BE patch day scanner says the tuning in this mod does not match the current template (not an error; just something may have changed in a recent patch that may or may not affect this mod). Just in case anyone does have issues, maybe this can be a troubleshooting starting point. :)

Hi, I hope you've been well! I never launch the game without a tuning checker (TEN, by the late Scumbumbo) installed. If there were errors in tag matches, that would pick it up. I don't know why BE says what it says there, because I don't know how it makes its scan and / or decisions. It's been complaining for years about two particular relbits of psychic sims for no apparent reason. It additionally fails to specify what made it say what it says, which it normally does when it does find a mismatched tuning tag

Oh, that's frustrating! Sorry to bring it up. Been okay; got really sick a few weeks ago but doing better now. The new additions to RPO have been making my game SO crazy and fun!!

No worries it's no problem, yes it's frustrating because I've never been able to figure why be has a problem with those two especially as checks by me and other programs who do the same check come up empty ehe. Sorry to hear you got sick, but it's behind you now! Thanks 🌻💙

I know you've probably already seen this, but just in case it helps, here is what it SAYS the issue is: GhostAndPsychic_SpirituallyBonded | Incorrectly matched tuning types found in tuning for bit_added_notification in Instance: 2605312673 (GhostAndPsychic_SpirituallyBonded), Types.RELATIONSHIP_BIT. Expected 'U', got 'V'

Do you think it's possible where this could also be used for occult sims like spellcasters so they also can have a psychic ability or really any occult members.

Hello, Lumpinou! I just want to say, first, I love your work! You are one of my Top 5 modders. I appreciate your work. {Ok... Done fan-girl-ing. LoL) Secondly, I have a question... Is it possible to attach this psychic to the seance table? I am creating a multi-venue using Little Ms Sam's auto-employee mod. Using this mod, I am able to create a building with multiple shops and assign employees. I would love to create a shop and place a psychic. Is it possible to attach a psychic to the seance table the way barista/bartenders/employees are attached as employees to a bar/espresso machine/food stall? Just a thought... Would be great if possible!

Another wonderful mod, I love it. It's so nice to have an option for humans only. To play in a magical style but without any witches. Thank you very much for all your work, the amount of hours you spent in it. I hope you will find time to expand it. It would be great if you can offer a Psychic Aspiration and maybe you can create something not only for writing a tarot blog . It would be sooo amazing, if sims could offer Tarot to other sims (maybe like the card table in the game)?

Thanks so very much! I do put a loooot of hours on these mods and am always happy to hear someone likes them! Please for now do not use the 'Ghost Binding' functions of this update, I just noticed a bug with them today that just took this long of testing to really really become concrete to me. I will have a fix very soon. :)

I have uploaded the file with all bugs fixed. Now this is perfectly functional. Please re-download if you had downloaded 'v0.95 beta'. Best, Lumpinou P.S.: for the Tarot thing - I would love this but the card game is a hell to work with and I'm really doubting that it's possible at all. I am still wanting to try though, but I don't want to give you much hope!)

How are you placing it in your Mods Folder? Did you turn mods back on after the patch turned them off? Is the script file no deeper than one subfolder in?

It works perfectly in my game. I don't know what the problem is on your end, if you're using a base game computer. Can you go into build mode and buy mysterious urn and become a psychic, see if the interaction menu for that shows?

I'm having issues with the mod (which I love btw) crashing my game. Here is the exception report: file:///D:/Electronic%20Arts/The%20Sims%204/BE-ExceptionReport.html I deleted MCC to see if the two mods were conflicting (it was also reporting Psychic mods as an issue), and installed Better Exceptions and got the same result. I'm taking the mod out of my game for now, but I hope to use it in the future. I really like it.

I can't access the exception, it's a file locally hosted in your computer, that you would need to upload. What is the main message of the error? There should be one line that summarizes the issue. You can just copy paste that here. If psychic sims shows up too that tells me the error is likely patch related. Is your game up to date and the mods too? Patch broke Rabbit Holes, I fixed them. You need the updated version of the mod and of the game.

Ah, I thought the link was on the web. Sorry I wasn't paying better attention. Possible Cause (Confidence: 100%) \Psychic Sims v0.95.package Reason [manus] Exception in ._tuning_loaded_callback. (AttributeError: 'str' object has no attribute 'factory') Everything is patched up and updated.

That is indeed patch related - are you in discord? I don't know where you could send me the error report so that I can see why this is happening if everything is up to date... I can give you an email in pm if you're willing to send it via email, or you could upload it anywhere, so that I can fix this for you :)

I went through all my mods again and one mod had an update since the last time I checked. I updated it and there wasn't an error this time. I reinstalled MCC and no error. So though it was blaming psychic sims, it may have been the other mod I guess? So far so good. *fingers crossed*

Check the date on the Psychic Sims error, if it's older than your update of the mod then it would mean that was not the issue. Otherwise I can't tell without seeing the report. I hope you are right and it was just something else

Lumpinou, are you still updating this mod? Today i let one of my sims book the tarot reading session via computer for the first time and after he returned there was this new buff called 'Lucky' with a bunny. I thought 'how cute' but his energy was dropping since then like he was pregnant and the fun needs as well. So i had to remove the buff with MCCC and now it's gone. At first i was thinking...no, what have i done to my game...again? 😂

This mod is still supported of course. Either I inverted the lucky blessing with the unlucky curse or something. Yep, I did haha. I'll fix it

2026-09-21 21:00 Although the next stuff pack is not confirmed. I would love this mod to be able to add to whatever “Psychic features” they add. (If they add it in happy haunts) Will you update it if they add it to the game? :)
