What is it NOT compatible with? Nothing that I know of! This is all new code and very much its own thing so I can't imagine it could conflict with much of anything!

DOWNLOAD & Installation:

1 - remove files from previous versions, if any

2 - REQUIRED: Lumpinou's Toolbox Library-Mod. If you don't already have it, grab the REQUIRED "Lumpinou's Toolbox" Library-Mod here (alt: here), and put it into your mods folder or one subfolder, NO DEEPER.

3 - grab the .package file from this post (link below), and put it into your mods folder or one subfolder.

Im not sure why.. But I have never had the option for the FWB to ask to become couple.. I have cheated their friendship to 90 and did more interactions afterwards.. but the ask to become couple is not working. I know before I didn't know it was an option, I had to have them end the relationship and start a real one. But I decided to go back through your mod description.. I seen it is an option.. But, its not working, nor has it ever worked for me.

Hey, just wanted to first tell you how much of a difference in gameplay your mods have brought. Your work is the reason why I keep playing Sims 4. I was wondering if any updates are planned for this mod, I know it is only available for young adults and up, but I was wondering if any future changes can apply to teens or if you are planning on making a mod intended specifically for teen romance. Or if there any other mods that you can recommend? Do not want to place you under pressure, I know you are currently working on a new Law & Disorder addition, I'm just curious.

No, it should just be there in the romance menu like for adults, between two teens

Okay I will double-check with a new file and let you know if any issues, just started using that mode so am not very familiar with it

Hello, Unfortunately, jealousy doesn't work like that. At school, I have this relationship with everything, but if someone else catches me in the act of making another woman happy, she freaks out with jealousy. :(

I have it installed but it doesn't come up anywhere and I can't even cheat for my sims to become FBW. I've used this mod in the past and just reinstalled it after restarting my save file. I love this mod btw, adds so much drama to my game

Then sounds like you might have an installation problem, so I'd advise checking on that :) . Also, interactions for relationship changes are mostly under EA's new menu for that nowadays

I reinstalled and I still can't get it to pop up anywhere, I have it only one subfolder deep and have the toolbox library mod installed. Road to romance and rpo mods are all working perfectly for me. Am I missing anything else that is needed for this mod?

Try between two other sims, look in every menu including the EA change relationship submenus, do a scan on Mod Hound to make sure there's no file problems. For any more precise assistance we'd need to see logs and or screenshots on the discord :)

This makes me wonder, since it pretty much introduces an entirely new relationship to the game, if it would be possible for you to one day create an 'unrequited love' mod? You know, where one sim would fall in love with the other and isn't sure if the feeling is mutual. Crushes, daydreaming about how they might confess, anxious about their response, and then to be able to somehow influence the 'chrushee's' reaction to a confession or having them find out some other way. Are they overjoyed, appalled, intrigued? Have they been mutually pining or friendzoned the other sim? The roleplay and drama options would be endless, I’ve always wanted something like this for the sims!

Unfortunately the game makes this, so far, impossible. In the Sims world it's impossible for two people to not like each other as much as the other does 😂 yeah, even if we were to use alternate relationship tracks. BUT this here lady (me) is perhaps a little crazy because I want to attempt it... I have a few ideas I absolutely want to put to the test. But there's chances it just can't be done 😂 because relationship tracks are always completely reciprocal. Buuuuut I went to try it. Perhaps with enough cleverness something can be done... This is the next thing I will work on once done with the Woohoo Wellness mod.

I understand, if it weren't so difficult it probably would've been done already, considering how many people I've seen interested in it. Yes it will still work! This mod is its independent thinking woohoo wise. Worst thing that could happen is, the WooHoo interactions that apply to FWBs will disappear, but they can still do the stuff from WW for example. It's compatible with WW. Could be that the WooHoo interactions from the FWB menu don't even disappear. Now in WW I'm fairly sure romance points are not needed for two sims to do things together, so that won't be an issue with my mod blocking romance between them.

a Mutual Pining version would be interesting. So even if they have the same level of relationship (interest in this case), they are apparently oblivious to the other's feelings. Maybe feel awkward even after successful flirting, and then the crushes and daydreaming and stuff. I think the base game "confess attraction" is available very early in flirting with another sim, but if that wasn't available until later. It might be fun if that was doable. If you aren't interested in trying it, then maybe one day (ha) I'll try poking at modding and see if I can figure it out. (I laugh at myself for believing I'd have the ability or the time, I think it's amazing y'all create stuff like this and I really respect the time and work put into the mod).

Thank you so much for this. I have some sims I wanted to be aromantic and before it felt like my options were to make them be unflirty. Which wasn't useful. It made it harder to build romance (and made them uncomfy with other people being romantic), but the still built it. The rest of my sims that I would want to have FWB arrangements, I've just been using polyamory cheats to disable jealousy and ending up with a bunch of high romance relationships, which wasn't ideal but I could live with. This will help clear that up, but seriously just, really really thank you for making something so I can have my sims be "yes sexual" but aromantic at the same time.

Everytime I use the ask to be friends with benefits it crashes my game can this be updated? I would really love to use this mod!

Please do check your folders... And if there's no duplicates then ask me again I'll give you the fix I had up before. But my new version is working perfectly for me. Also delete your cache

What do you mean? What doesn't appear? Did you try with several Sims? Are script mods enabled? Is the script file no deeper than one subfolder in the mod folder? If you shift + click on a sim with testing cheats enabled, do you see an option named 'make sim unable to fall for FWB'?

Hi! :) I have the same problem but with Road to romance. When I play with a teen sim, she doesn't gain any skills so the relationship doesn't grow... But when I use other sims, I don't have this problem. Is it because she's a teen or already have the "romantic" traits? Anyway, thanks a lot for all your work !! I support you from France haha

It's normal, there's no teen support in Road to Romance. I will make a separate teen module later. Relationship does grow, if you use version A or C it just takes longer. Keep at it and the bar will appear. Otherwise use version A and it will go at the same rate as in the game.

Hi! Since you have a mod for WooHoo diseases, can you make a mod where sims can be born with a disease and/or health condition and if they do certain things like exercising/working too much, or if they give birth, they could die?

Hi! My sims relationship have developed beyond 80 points but there is no "Ask to Become Couple" option. They are teens, is that why?

That would be a completely different project, but I've been thinking about basically making a disease mega mod with all sorts of conditions... So I think your idea merges with that and I am taking it into consideration!

So with the new update, my female sim will not get pregnate at all if she woohoos through the FWB menu? Dang!! Pregnancy adds so much drama! Especially with all the other relationship and pregnancy mods I have.

They will if you have mods that enable Woohoo risk such as Woohoo Wellness, MC Woohoo etc :) But they were getting pregnant every time they Woohoo'd because of an error 😂

I updated the mod and my game crashed as soon as I click woohoo in bed under FWB tab. IDK what caused it!

Weird, I am not having that issue. You only have new files yes? Maybe take it out, launch a household, close the game, then put the mod in again? I don't know what it would do but yeah, all I changed is removed a piece of pregnancy code that should not have been there to begin with 😂😅 shouldn't cause any issue

I can't find the friends with benefits menu, only the open love thingy :o Could you please help me, I think Im having a brain error today bc I know I found the option before xD

Open Love Life and No Strings Attached are two separate mods, no strings has the friends with benefits, open love has the other thing. The friends with benefits menu only appears with friends with benefits

When I was clicking on the other sim. Turned off the game right after but now I realize smth. I think the guy was her ex bf when they were teens, thats probably the reason yeah? xD I know the mod is in the game bc when I shift-click I saw the option "make unable to fall for fwb", it was probably bc it was her ex bf (remembered I read you had that blocked). :p

Oh no I found my brain, the fwb menu is under the romance menu, for some reason I thought it was "its own" menu lol xD Ty for your patience with me haha

Does it crash without? There are a lot of Game crashes happening due to the new game patch, and not mods, are you sure that's not what's happening? Are you getting any errors?

Hi! My sims seem to be getting jealous even though they've entered a "friends with benefits" relationship. One of the sims already had a romantic relationship with the FWB partner. When they entered the FWB agreement the romance bar went into the red zone and the romance bar didn't disappear like in the other FWB relationship. I also was wondering if WW interations will still make Sims jealous if this mod is applied, or if those interations are protected by FWB as well.

Yeah the bar should go to 0. What was their exact relationship status when asking ans what is it now?

Hey! I'm not seeing either the Open Love Life Mod or FWB menu on my game at all. When I shift click (with testing cheats on) the option "make unable to fall for fwb" doesn't show up? Am I doing something wrong?

That moved with the other settings from the mod, under the 'actions' menu. 'ask to be friends with benefits' is in the romance section, if it's accepted then the FWB menu will appear between those Sims. Open love life has options in the romance menu as well, same way. I am making an update for open love life right now to add two more relationship types which I am finishing today, so if you are interested you may want to grab it again in a few days. Are your files no deeper than one subfolder in the mod folder and are script mods installed?

Hi! I'm can't seem to find a way to ask to start a Friends with Benefits action? Where can I find it? I can't seem to find it under Actions or Romance, but I do see a Friends with Benefits section under Actions to make the sim incapable of feeling jealous. But I can't find where to start the actual relationship. Thank you!

First of all a great mod! However, I appear to be racking up negative romance with some FWBs that I can't seem to get rid of, unless I resort to cheats. Is this intended?

Do all these apply: What Sims can ask another to be Friends with Benefits? To be able to ask, there must be a third of the friendship bar full between those Sims. Sims must also be adult (= Young Adult to Elder). A Sim can't make that offer to boyfriends/girlfriends and spouses. For some reason I also blocked it from ex-partners, I might change my mind later.

Not really no - thing is it won't affect the FWB relationship anyway - I'll make it reset periodically in some update

Question - all the interactions asking other if they have other FWB mean that there is some autonomous NPC FWB asking, right? Or do you have to manually control some households/NPC sims for a while and engage them in such arrangement with someone? I think it'd be interesting to have some NPC FWB happening - maybe single, romantic sims could do that. Let me know ^^ Thanks!

You very likely have an infinite recursion problem. It's got nothing to do with my mods in themselves, but with having too many mods that inject things in the game the same way. You could verify that by launching the game with no mods except mine.

Hi. At any point in the future are you planning to make this mod compatible with your LGBTQIA+ mod so that aro sims do not have the FWB level go up too high and "catch feelings"? I think that would make most sense ^_^

Several things in existing mod will have to be adjusted. This would likely be one of them. All takes a while :)

Hi! I know you are taking a long overdue break so I'm not expecting a reply anytime soon, I just wanted to post this while I'm playing and see a potential issue. I have two Sims who were FWB before the July 26th update and everything that came after. Tonight they interacted for the first time since then and when I select the "Gauge Relationship Development" option, nothing happens. I used to get a message that would pop up telling me what their relationship was and whether or not they were heading into the feelings danger zone, but as of right now I don't get anything. Not sure if this is an issue others are having or just me, and if you have any suggestions as to that might be the snafu?
