!!! MODDERS!!!: Need to test for pregnancy / trimesters and can't test for moodlets as you want your mod to be compatible with this mod? It's deadly easy - test for trimester Object States instead of moodlets! If trimester doesn't matter, you can also just test for the pregnancy trait!Look at the EA interaction 'Share Big News' if you don't know what I mean, and you'll find what test to use there. Ask me for more info if you need! :)!!!! Feel free to reach out for any question or if you need me to integrate something of your mod in mind or vice-versa!!

Override & replacement information: pregnancy buffs are custom. Overrides: loot_Pregnancy_InLabor_Notification, TakePregnancyTest_Loot

DOWNLOAD:

- remove previous versions of this file, if you have any

- grab the RPO Core Library if you don't have it;

- grab the .package file from this post and put it directly into your mods folder or one subfolder (it's a .package file, so, not extracting!)

Hi Lumpinou i was wondering if you could help me with this!! I have some issues with the interactions and moodlet thingys, I can see the icons but they have no descriptions so I have no idea what they are, also anything related to these interactions give me a notification bar but it doesnt say anything!! Sorry I dont know how to explain this but I have pictures to show what I mean!!

Hi, that would be an installation problem. Most likely you still have old files hiding somewhere on top of new ones

Hi im not sure what you mean by old files? This is my first time installing the mod so do you mean like an old installation or an old version?

Yeah I mean old version. But if it's your first time it sounds more like missing a core file or having an outdated translation

Hey Lumpinou! I love your mods! But wanted let you know that everytime i clicked on my family to play i would just get shot back to the worlds page. did the 50/50 method and found out every mod my game loaded fine until the M01 portion of the RPO would be added. Not sure but when i took it out i was able to play

This comes up every time I try to share big news with my spouse who does not want kids. Then all the other features under the pregnancy interaction are locked and I am unable to communicate with my spouse about the pregnancy. I have deleted old files, made sure my game was up to date and redownloaded the RPO files several times. I cannot figure this out. I know you would prefer we troubleshoot in your discord, however I wanted to share it on here incase others were experiencing similar issues. I deeply apologize if this is not the correct place to ask this but, hi! I love your mods and wanted to ask if you would be interested in exploring an idea relating to names like creating a module that allows common family names to be used/generated for their descendants. For example, being able to create a list of names that would more commonly be used with members of whatever family chosen, i.e Mortimer, Alexander, Cassandra, Victor, Mathilde, Morgana, etc. could be added to the list for common names generated for Goth descendants and names like Nancy, Geoffrey, Malcolm, Johnny, Margaret, Mimi, etc. could be added to a list for common names generated for Landgraab descendants. This could be especially used for households that you may not frequently play, like though I may not play the Landgraab household, the list would generate common "Landgraab" names to be used for any descendants. Ex. I'm playing a different family for several generations, but I see a new Geoffrey Landgraab walking around with a name like his ancestor who originally married Nancy. This would also allow certain aesthetics to be applied to certain families, like most members of the Goth family having Goth or Victorian-style names.

New to using your mods but I have a question. From what I understand, the player can be presented with prompts to change their preference or view towards pregnancy in the game. Is it possible to change/persuade NPCs to change their view in the game? Are all the NPCs unsure or neutral about pregnancy or will that change as the game progresses? So far, my character has asked several NPCs about their preference towards children, and they've all said they'd have to think about it. Is this the default NPC view unless manually changed by the Player or is there a way to change this through dialog with the character?

Hi, by default if you have m1 installed, everyone gets assigned preferences regarding having children. It's not usually normal to see 'I'd have to think about it' as an answer for 'ask if sim wants children', so if you are noticing any other weirdness es, I'd recommend you come over to the Discord so we can check that you have everything installed correctly. Npc's and played Sims both are subject to changing their minds according to their life experiences if you have the setting controlling that enabled

Hey I got a question. why can't I see if my sim wants a baby or not? the mod seems to be working fine when I click on a sim(I can see the relationship,family pregnancy option) but I can't see their preference if they want kids. (sorry for commenting here )

Hello! I’ve been having a problem with this specific mod for a few weeks now. I use the “randomize wishes” in the “thoughts on having children” category but I’ve tried 2 new save files and the wishes never randomize. They stay the same like “neutral about having children” or “would love to have children”. This happens to every sim no matter how long I play them for. Idk what to do or how to make the randomize button work again. I’ve never had this problem before. Help!

Hey Lumpinou, do you consider the Wicked Whims compatibility file a setting file that we should delete as well? Its called "...AdditionalFileRequiredForWickedWhimsUsers.package"

Hi, yes delete absolutely everything from previous versions, including that! It will mess things up otherwise. That file-workaround is not necessary anymore :)
