Farold's has been mentioned a scant few times in the background of the story. It's the teahouse and bakery where Durlyne's privileged Soud hang out and discuss politics and romance and eat tiny cakes and drink big mugs of sweet milk with a little tea in it.

Sweet milk with a little tea in it sounds amazing rn

If Farold's were anywhere else in Kasslyne, Beadman would be trying to make a franchise out of it.

Aaaaand there's Bastion~

Fitzy

Bastion didn't get the dress code memo

Hmmm what's this strange cabal of men, including Bastion, Lemuel is seen meeting I wonder?

CD

Bastion's irreverant lounging made me laugh. But everyone else bowing as if to honour Argenti's chosen for some dangerous undertaking for the good of the Ssaelit peoples...! Hmm! Humour is not the emotion engendered!

Mister Scarecrow

The show-dont-tell here is just incredibly well executed. You can really feel Lem's detachment as it translates from trauma to radicalization to isolation in a way that is really important. Does he walk through the door? Or turn away into the night on his business? If he walks through that door does he truly "belong" in this space, is he accepted? Almost surely. Does he feel accepted? That's going to be interesting.

cool

Rainwalker

Top left of the bottom panel… could that be Lizbeth? Or just another friend of Mikaila’s?

Madison

Man I wonder what’s being decided in that room with (counts) roughly half of the men present during the Rebalancing discussion when Duane punched Bodie…

Rion Boom Crabhands Keon

Just to be sure I'm understanding this. The third panel is a flashback to a scene we haven't seen?

dzefs

Those lion Tiffany lamp bauble things rule, those wretched twin-eaters could never do something cool like that.

Capsandnumbers

Duane quit talking shop and talk to your brother!! You are both being recruited for schemes!

Cassie

God, I can't stop looking at that middle panel. I'm insane over it. Both of Argenti's hands on Lem's shoulders, as if presenting him to the cabal before them. Lem's gaze steady and steadfast, with a fist clenched over his chest as if taking an oath. The men bowing to him (but not doing the usual salute/bowing we've seen throughout the comic so far!). I am distraught at the implications.
