Captain Hetr, it's been a while. And the world is still disrespecting you, poor bastard.

I announced the fanworks contest winners over on the main site. At this point in these things I just feel like a clod and want to say everyone is a winner. This is why I can't watch sportsball :3

PS: I recommended Unsounded to Gail Simone on Twitter. She actually responded with a retweet and sounded positive about trying to work it in. I hope she has time, because while I have no voice at all on social media, hers is both HUGE and well -respected. I know if she actually reads it, she will love it, and spread that love. *fingers crossed*

(If you ever get a chance to make her acquaintance at a convention, take her a book. As you likely know, she's famous for--amongst other things--boosting other women in the industry. I also think, not personally knowing either of you even a little, that you'd get on. Your writing shares a certain twisted macabre sensibility along with a startlingly similar sense of humour that is equal parts intelligent and appreciative of the absurd.)
