Wait what

I like the disorienting BAM! of white - it'll work best on a full consecutive read of the chapter. Where the heck are they? What the heck is ARFing at them?

You may not have been a bloodhound, but you WERE a retriever, Quigs.

The Clag

Has Quigley been wearing transition lenses for the entire story and I never noticed? Or did I just forget?

Rob N

Well, I have to concur with Quigs, it's mostly a dog. Which means they can't kill it, because, as we all know, it is verboten to kill dogs in this comic. But I still don't think it's the "final boss" of this chapter?

Chase

You know I get the sense that Toma is usually too fussy and too proud of his position in the peaceguard to go without shaving for too long... which is a shame because that stubble is really *working* for him

akrasia

That does not look like a thing that should ARF.

Doggo's aim reminded me of a line: '"There are two ways for a dog to relieve himself. One, like a friend. The other, like a hose without a fireman. Which way do you think that was?"

redink

for some odd reason that has sette's style all over it.

Danila

Protective stormbois are the cutest.

10 gold sems say that this cute doggo which I want to adopt can't actually harm anyone, it just looks fierce and dangerous, but it's just a big pymaric light show.

The way the party is standing there in the penultimate panel gives me some yellow brick road vibes. Duane is clearly the scarecrow, I mean look at him (Also, "braaaaiiiins"). Elka with her mane and ferocious attacks is the lion (except that she is in no way cowardly). Quigs is pla-TIN-um man. Which leaves Emil Sava goat farm boy to be Dorothy. And they are all about to meet the good witch of the south?
