Three pages today. These would have been irritating with two days between each one, don't you think?

Are, are these Kussen?

Tony Wilkey

This Matty torture kills me, but the story most progress.

Kaleb Galvin

Oh, I had thought they were carrion keepers and was very curious about that

BizzAnon

Christ, Cope, this one's rough.

Tia

I wonder if Mathis really did inform on Vienne, or if this was an attempt to demoralize her and get her to talk. Especially given the fact that this wasn't the first time someone had come for her; there was also that Aseptic she killed with a pymaric in "Vienne of Seferpine." That seems to suggest that the government already knew enough to target her, with or without Quigly turning her in?

The Clag

Well done Ashley, it's been awhile since you've made me speechless. The list of people who would mourn the passing of Mathis Quigley just got a lot shorter.

Colin Suess

I, for one, am looking VERY forward to seeing what Quigley does in return. Wait...are we riding along in Quigley's revenger's tragedy? (I mean in addition to all the other stuff going on!)

The Apprentice

Given Quigley's reactions after this, seems fairly certain that what happened to Vienne was not what he expected to happen. Was he betrayed even as he betrayed Vienne? Or was this just torturer manipulation/lies to try and break Vienne? And were the torturers coppers or jets due to the nature of their speech? No casting is shown but close contact , and those castes have that problem, iirc...

Jeremy Ball

Noone expects the Aldish Inquisition. Poor traumatised Matty in his bloody little socks. If there's any silver lining here it's that he is now probably going to become exactly what Knock was afraid of making him if she offed Quiggles in front of him. Matty is Batman.

The Apprentice

This is only the second creation I've seen that has teeth as such a prominent aspect. Shadowrun: Hong Kong had a demon king called "The Queen of a Thousand Teeth" or some such. (I looked up a LP to recall the specific art, and your comic is more disturbingly detailed.) If I can ask, what, if anything, helped inspire the Muck/Teeth/Mouth trio?

Kyoumen

This was an appropriately harrowing scene. The burns on Vienne are horrific-looking. With that being said, it wasn't clear to me at all these were supposed to be metaphorical creatures rather than some hideous torture-construct until I read the comments.
