If Keon and Hetr are concerned that queen's forces are going to ask questions like "what exactly you were doing here?" – they could've already asked that question to the messenger that warned about the attack. Actually, it's unlikely that there was a way for Bell to just sneak in these troops here, probably the disposition of Hetr's squad was already known to Queen's forces. Dunno.
