Darkest's and Maur's expressions in the face of Ruckmearkha's declaration of love are pretty much perfect. It's the wonderful dross-less alloy of childish indignation at being called "cute" and what I imagine would have been the reaction if Bilbo's Party Tree speech had ended with the revelation that he had planted a bomb under the banquet table as a practical joke in case the party got too dull.

There is so much character here, such a fun page. Also, imagining the Black Tongues using body paint on Ruck is...... jfc a fun time. Of course, can't lie, super happy to see a long-anticipated return. Ana's storyline in particular makes my heart hurt so much because she's so relatable. I'm such a sucker for characters longing for stability and normalcy and a spot of calm in a crazy world. Can't wait for her Silver Monster Rampage (insert "You're doing amazing, sweetie" meme)
