My favourite part of this page is Ruck putting his little hands up innocently in the last panel, even as he belittles the guard. The snake's just having a great day.

A whole page of Ruck dialogue AND a glimpse into forgotten history? Is it my birthday?

Darkest Paul is steadily growing on me.

Are those thumbs I see on the lion's front paw?

Mister Scarecrow

The 'belittling' itself is a great line too. :D As for the rest of the page, I love when prose builds into these moments of poetry. At the far end of prose things become nearly clinical driving a story along from plot point to plot point like a court document. At the far end of poetry things can become too abstract devolving into an image or images but focusing on sound and meter with no story to speak of. This page is a happy marriage. A bloody cryptic foreboding foreshadowy marriage.

Man, those tails really do look like Sette's tail.

Ohoho! Ohohohoho! I… have no clue what to make of that 4th panel. Anyway, this page was a good end to a bad day, so thanks Ashley <3

I love Ruck's purple prose. Please make him talk more! (Also *cubs*? And he doesn't elaborate? Tease!)

There's obviously a lot I love about unsounded and one of them is definitely when a Senet beast is like "oh yeah the old days? the forgotten lore? the shape of the bones of the world? yeah i remember that" and people say "perhaps you could expand on that" and the dreadful fellow is like "absolutely not."

These lion fellas seem like the OG spiderpaws

I love how Ruck is just enjoying the moment of literally anything and everything. Could give a fuck about what happens in the end, he is just enthralled with the action, occasionally inciting it, sitting back and relaxing with popcorn! (probably eats it with his tiny hands too)

I like how one of the lions has a little braid. Did he sit down and braid it himself for the Big Sacrifice Day? So many unanswered questions, lost to history.

Sharpeslass

Oh, I must know more about the cubs! Sette's twin sacrifice images/memories(?) showed twin skulls that were human(?) paired with lion. There is mysterious history here!
