If this guard was a traitor all along, why chose this moment? He was probably escorting the queen for a while, might've been better opportunities (like on the move) than do it dramatically when the queen is literally talking about the possibility of an attack. i mean, even if he did it while the was a kerfuffle with Roger's body, while other guard is rushing to help – that's already a better cover. This assassin sucked.
