Decided these really worked best all together.We'll jump to a new scene next, and spend the rest of the chapter in Port Morstorben... mostly. Thanks for reading along, friends!

I have MANY questions from the last week of posts. So this weaponized Plod attack was the intent of all the soul mappin' (at least on Darkest's part, Delicieu was in it for love of the game obviously) and Foi-Hellick swillin'? How is the Etalarche involved? Is it utilizing the Dammakhert specifically? Is it utilizing the thing in the human soul the Etalarche attaches to? Is it connected to the Weeping Plague? Is it going to turn into a Zombie Apocalypse for Alderode? Or worse is it going to hit everyone while our team is on their boat ride (probably hanging out with Jivi's pirate-mom at some point)? This is a really big move plot-wise and I'm really excited to see where this goes, considering how long in-universe and out-universe this particular reveal has been building.

Just so I know I'm tracking on this one...is this right? 1. The Black Tongues are using the crows + pymary to control plods as a fighting force. The fighting behavior was developed by Maur. The controls are the Oculus+Wii-mote rigs. 2. The city is the one we've been at with the "cheery" camp that Miki just left, not the capitol. 3. The people who nearly killed Lem and the family Lem nearly killed are all Crecians who lived in the city prior to Alderode conquering it. 4. The "too big to fit in here" red guy is......my dog ate my homework. 5. Mason was lunch and dessert tastes like Lemon.

I'm always blown away by your monster design! That panel of Mason with the crows on his head is going to live with me for awhile. The initial one a few pages ago of the crows landing on the corpses was also haunting in the best possible way. Lemuel is having A Day, isn't he? It's hard for me to feel a ton of sympathy for him given how he is semi-to-completely-responsible for many other people's Worst Days but still. At least he got Miki out. I have an immediate and unreasonable crush on Irma <3 Is she always this campy? Because it's a great contrast to her husband's monochromatic scariest-dude-in-the-room vibe.

Hmm. A question - why kill those Coppers? They can't fight back much and they are the Secret Keepers, possessing intimate Dammakhert knowledge - and Queen seems to be very interested in all that. Wouldn't it make more sense to capture them and interrogate them? Even if they won't badge, they at the very least make for a one tasty bargaining chip for trading POWs.
