Two pages today! A final moment of peace before all hell breaks loose. We had to go through a lot of pages of random destruction and mayhem, and I know they weren't terribly gripping, but I think they were necessary to keep the events in scale. We zoom in more on our heroes next; as Duane says, everyone needs to guard their heart.

That's a low blow, ghosts

Powerful update; is there more to leysa then we are aware? Probably In any case its good to see the gang getting along (Elka x Duane pairing up haha)

We’re with you on this one, Emil.

I feel like fridge just dropped on my head. We know Mik's not dead--so who's the kid?? If Leysa's been happy and banging Lem *before* Duane died, I'm sorely disappointed in both of them. And if Leysa's been happy and banging Lem *after* Duane died, well...it's like they say..."when life gives you Lemon..."

Rainwalker

*eats these pages* delicious

Elka is a cop and therefore bad, but we all here understand the concept of problematic fave, Emil. It's fine.

"Guard your heart captain. The dead are here. And they are armed." Is such a badass line. I love it!

Noxae

I will be so sad if they don't end up together, but at the same time I don't have much hope.

Karvil

Watching the eyelines... can Toma see that too, or is he just looking where Duane is, possibly at some other vision of his own?

I didn't think Elka of all people would have self-confidence issues.

Duane's expression in the second to last panel of the first page is wonderful. As is his advice. But... Is night falling, or is the stress just getting to our undead hero? In either case, I hope that image of Lem and Leysa is dark imagining and not a sixth sense. (Lem never seemed that interested in women, but being in love with his brother's wife might appear much the same.)

"The dead are here, and they are armed" is a bone chilling sentence
