I like the oozing red in Silverfish's word balloons. You can hear the bloody phlegm in his dead voice; the thousand disparate pieces of his shattered dead soul captured in a silver net and crammed back together. Like pubic hair and soap scum and menses caught up in a shower drain and left to harden into a putrid lump.

But having the Fish attempt to relate to him was a very different experience there for Quigs than when Duane tried it last chapter.

Anyway, Sette should run.

Moss on Trees

The worst bits of an already awful person smushed into form. I wonder, how similar is what the silver did to starfish to what Duane went through? Duane is a complete soul, purposely persevered past death, starfish was unintentionally shaped within the agony of the silver, however incomplete. It feels like there’s a parallel here.

Mister Scarecrow

Disgusting mess. Dead oughta stay dead. The dead want because the living want and it all turns putrid when the want outlives the man. 'Specially when the want was rotten to the core already. More bones for the fire. Let there be no more ghosts. Let the dead sleep at last in ashes.

Mister Scarecrow

Everything about this page is very much "Thanks I hate it." The art, the dialogue, the shower drain analogy in the description.(Blegh) All of it. Purely upsetting in the way I expect and enjoy being upset by your work. So, thanks, Ash, I hate it. <3

How well can Quigs see without his glasses?

"Hadn't been such a greedy wee bitch" and here we come full-circle to the very same arguments Quigs had with little Matty. I wonder if the eels were talking that because they knew just how that would needle him.
