I do really like what I've seen of Queen Sonorie as we've gotten more of her. She seems like she's trying her best to be the best ruler she can be under her circumstances. Not a personal or moral judgement, mind you. A true monarch should theoretically embody and direct the will of their nation. Nations are not personal or moral things by their very nature. And that's the problem for her I think. I'm sure if you asked Sonorie the Woman, how she reconciles the morality of the choices made by Sonorie, Queen of Cresce, she's never done anything immoral in the name of national interests-- not willingly, at least. And all for Cresce's best advantage, of course. But the weight must be carried by someone. 'Heavy is the head,' and all that. Hopefully she makes it out of this. General Bellend can take his be-hatted bathroom attendant (obligatory "Fuck Karl") and take a hike.
